      It just depends. I’ve been in 3 major accidents in the last 7 years and none of then were my fault. The first one I was at a red light and a guy wasn’t paying attention and rear ended me. I saw him in my mirror and tried to swerve out of the way but he was going too fast and got the very corner of my bumper which sent me into incoming traffic and I was t boned. The second time it was raining and I was once again at a red light and the person behind me was going way too fast and hydroplaned into me. I once again saw it coming and tried to swerve out of the way but it was too late as he was going 50 miles per hour. The third one a guy ran a red light and t boned me and apparently what was the 3rd time he had ran a red light and hit someone

      This guy needs to be stopped or at least investigated. He has become a complete joke. Even after a long interview with each patient, he ends up doing almost the exact same routine on every person no matter what their complaint is, including this ridiculous Y Strap maneuver that he does and nearly 100% of patients, even though it’s clearly not specific enough. The problem is the chiropractic industry isn’t regulated enough as a whole, so these guys can get away with basically anything.

    Last time I was asked to fill out that "where it hurts" body outline I just circled the whole thing. That got a good laugh from the doc. Things are much better now. It really is amazing how we learn to just accept and adapt to pain over time, not knowing there could be an actual solution out there. I saw 4 western medicine specialists and got no answers, just medications. A happenstance event landed me in a chiropractic office that specialized in Atlas work and in one session it changed my life.

    • @ziggybender9125
      @ziggybender9125 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Since I'm sure you have done your research. What is atlas work? I went to different chyros over the years. First one felt amazing and made me aware that my body was indeed working against me, he recommended special shoes for my feet. 2nd one was years later and came by recommendation by someone I was working for, she was a small elderly lady that used props to gain leverage. That might work for some people but was not a great experience for me and I would not recommend going to a chyro that doesn't have body strength. The 3rd one I went to in just full body pain and he really got some highlight real cracks out of me and I was very thankful. None were able to fix this little nagging spot under my left shoulder blade connected to my spine (that's how I describe it). I started stretching every day shortly after that last adjustment and abandoned the idea of sitting on chairs at home, over the last 3 years it's kind of like I've been my own chyro as I've had 2 full spine cracks as well as major hip adjustments where it felt like one second I was sitting there than the next a huge pop happened seemed like my hip section fell drastically into alignment. I'm very close to fixing this long time shoulder thing now but I'm still curious about if the right chyro could boost my progress.

      Glad to hear about your positive experience! Chiropractic care can indeed be life-changing.

    • @monicacollins8289
      @monicacollins8289 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ziggybender9125 the Atlas is the first vertebra directly under the skull. Even if the Atlas is off by one degree in either direction, it can cause the entire spine to be out of alignment, the hips being elevated and the shoulders being twisted and uneven. As a result, it'll lead to overworked muscles, muscle spasms, and ligaments being deformed and strained.

    • @ziggybender9125
      @ziggybender9125 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@monicacollins8289 I figured it out! What I've been dealing with my whole life are affects of shoulder dystocia from when my mom had me as a home birth and I got stuck so they had to twist me to get me out. Changing my shoulders alignment through stretching is changing my arms and hands, now I can use my left hand skillfully as if I had trained it but I haven't. I get deep neck cracks every time after my shoulders make any small adjustments as they fight their way back into alignment, eventually I will fix this atlas you speak of and my jaw too. I now look at human and posture entirely differently and how it dictates balance and coordination ability.

      I wanted to ask Dr. C about the tinnitus his patient mentioned she had. I've had it in my left ear for years and have been wondering what could help to minimize the sound I hear. So my question to you is, what types of stretching are you suggesting? I also have 2 bulging disc's in my lower back & have wondered if going to a chiropractor would help.

    I fully understand what she's talking about having to give up driving due to neck and headache issues caused by trying to turn your neck. If I drive at all, the route must be planned in advance with no left turns being made without either a stop light, 4 way stop, or a roundabout being involved. Turning my head to the right causes instantaneous migraine on the right side of the brain and in order to look right I have to turn my head so slowly to the left to prevent vertigo or tunnel vision it's too dangerous to attempt left hand turns.

      I’ve been suffering from back problems since I hurt it lifting weights in 1980. Found chiropractic in 1985, fixed that issue. 1994, someone pulled in front of me, hit broadside at 55 mph. Been to so many chiropractors since then. Some great results, some turned me away because they couldn’t help. People without chronic back/neck problems don’t have a clue. Years ago, insurance didn’t cover chiropractic so I’ve spent $50,000 out of pocket over the years. I’d love this or the ring dinger to see if I could get more relief. Fibromyalgia, arthritis, degenerative conditions, have kicked my once strong butt, lol.

      I commented my story on another persons comment if you want to read it but I'll offer you some advice. This is ancient way. Avoid sitting in chairs as much as possible, sitting through uncomfortable positions on the ground will cause muscles to release tension and the joints will naturally want to shift into better position. Think of lotus pose with a perfectly aligned back, shoulders, and neck as the best possible end goal because if you achieve that you will feel like you have the best posture and natural balance you could ever imagine for yourself and others will notice it as well. In the end sitting in chairs won't matter to you anymore as your body is aligned and just sitting in a chair wont change that, it's the years of conditioning yourself to sit in them and not doing any of the bodies natural stretches or poses of sitting without a built chair that destroys a persons posture add in some injury and yeah that's how we end up on these videos.

Perhaps there was some coaching off camera, but even still you'd be sure to remind a first timer of that.
