I don't think anything we've heard is fake. If that's what you're implying. Even in this song as she went higher in her register her voice got more airy and squeaky.
She just decided to sing in her lower register.
She unlike Risu and Kanata has a little bit of a growl in her lower register.
What this means is she actually in the 3rd register NOT singing on the bass semi-note.
Kanata sings on bass semi-note a lot but there's zero growl, rasp or rumble. So she isn't singing in the 3rd octave.
Iofi is full of creative talent. So it shouldn't surprise us that she has so much talent in music.

I know you still feel that you have a lot of room for improvements, but that also means that there's a space to be a much better singer than past Iofi was -- and this cover is one of the result for your effort! i've listened to this multiple times a day and everytime i cry a little bit. but its a good cry. the song itself is very sad but the way you've covered it adds a whole other layer of feeling. i've tried sharing to anyone i know who i thought might be able to look passed the language they don't understand... not many have. but i get it, its not for everyone. but it does make me sad that so few people still have been able to hear you pour your heart out here. After all those pains and sufferings, as I look at the sky, I always think that all I want is just to soar and fly through the sky. Not rewinding time, so I can redo everything. Not a future sight, so I can prepare for anything. Not hoping for a world without conflict, so people can live without hurting each other. Nor thinking about revenge or retribution. But just this silly weird feeling of want to be free and fly through the sky and clouds.
