Dr McGee's voice and his teachings gave me GREAT comfort before I knew the comfort of the Holy spirit for myself. I was in my mid twenties trying to hold down a job in the 80's and was heartbroken when I discovered that for simply being black I was fired. I was crushed. I listened to Mr. McGee daily on the radio and found great comfort in his teachings and his voice. I thank the Heavenly Father for Dr. McGee. Amen

I believe a true born again Christian should not be burdened by sin any longer. But rather sinful behavior. Because our sins as they WERE, are thrown into the depths of the sea. If God promises this, then why should a true Christian be burdened by sin itself. Now… sinful behavior is a real problem in a Christian, because if dabbled with long enough ( though hating it with conviction), God can chastise ( with loving discipline), and we can lose out on our earthly purpose.
I have listen to Pastor McGee since I was first born again decades ago. There are things I see eye to eye with Dr McGee and those that I do not. He has helped me grow, and I am thankful he was involved in my Christian walk.

J Vernon McGee is my mentor. I've learned so much from his teachings, still doing it today. McGee once said that in heaven he would like to be in the Apostle Paul's classroom. I've listened to Dr. McGee for well over fifty years and still listen to him today.I consider him a very capable preacher to teach the Bible. He taught Greek for several years and has taught the Word for over a hundred years, as he is teaching on recordings now. Read or listen to commentary or the Book of Romans. We are saved by what Jesus did on the cross. By His GRACE and MERCY ,we are saved if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Lance Roark if you are walking in the Holy Spirit there is no need to focus on walking in the law because the Spirit gives you a new heart that desires to be obedient to God. It comes as part of walking with the Spirit.

Lance Roark if you are walking in the Holy Spirit there is no need to focus on walking in the law because the Spirit gives you a new heart that desires to be obedient to God. It comes as part of walking with the Spirit.
