Thank you for sharing a similar style (AND VINTAGE), doors installed in our house, I (the Boss) had decided that she was tired of the noise and struggle with our four doors. I therefore begrudgingly looked for pertinent videos, since the majority are of apparently New unused doors, I felt that was an excellent reason to abandon the project before I even started! Thank you for your inspiration and giving my wife a great reason to say, “I told you that the doors were repairable”.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! This is one that's been on my todo list for a while. I took the door off a little over a year ago, and cleaned up and lubed the wheels. Thanks to your video I got up the confidence to take down/out the door, but had to call a neighbor to help carry it outside. HEAVY! There was a ball of yarn wrapped around one of the roller assemblies. It now moves with the touch of a finger instead a full hand and shoulder! I'm surprised it didn't start a fire with all that friction!

One point you forgot to mention - the bottom track may not be perfectly perpendicular to the jamb. When adjust the rollers one should bring the door almost to the closed position and make sure that the edge of the door is parallel with the jamb. If not, adjust the roller height so that it is.

Well got the stationary door out but the sliding door will NOT come out. I look to see if it was the rollers it's isn't . It's the 2 end pieces and such a tiny amount stopping me from lifting it out. I have had it calling someone to do it. It's 106 outside and way too hot for this girl .
