@@gunnargreens Tbh, you can just hard grind past 1200. The real thing you have to do is just not hang things/miss tactics. Puzzles are great but (And this is from my search around youtube when I was trying to break that elo range) I think at like 2200 puzzles it really just tests too much of ur like deep calculation skills. I would suggest going back to basics and doing puzzle rushes for simple pattern recognition and aiming for like 20?ish in 3 minute is nice since most of the times your not losing games to super hard to find 2200 puzzle tactics, it's more like hanging pieces or a simple pawn or queen fork which puzzle rush is more practical since you are able to reinforce not hanging pieces and blundering stuff thats probably losing you like 80-90% of the games and you just can't simply spend every move calculating variations due to time control.
Of course, that being said it's probably not the best idea to spend like more than 30 mins in 1 session grinding puzzle rushes, I think that it should be used in combination with just playing games. Also ur vids seem pretty well made and I think u deserve more subs heh. At least u earned my sub
I appreciate the advice! Honestly, if I did give more time studying the basics and make sure I blunder less, I know I can climb higher. I never thought of using puzzle rush to reinforce not blundering so I'll give that a try. Thanks!!
Keep up buddy ❤️
You have to practice 3 things for 1300 1 puzzles 2 puzzles 3 puzzles
What’s a good rating goal for puzzles? I’m currently 2200
