Rare occasion of fighter mode being an actual fighter and not just robot parts tucked underneath airframe. Design and engineering wise its on par with variable fighters from Macross and that's awesome
The jet mode is so clean-looking, that it hides the robot mode parts so well.

This looks very similar to the Bumblebee Blitzwing Transformer figures we've seen in the past, engineering wise.

Based on the thumbnail I thought it will be a J-20, pleasant surprise it's a J-35 instead. Also awesome detail at 1:01. Given that it's a jet for aircraft carriers, this hook is very important.
From the engine air vents it appears to be a KF-21

I just got this figure in, and I can confirm that he will probably forever stay in robot mode. The engineering is truly impressive, but good lord is the transformation unpleasant. Also, you're better off using the video to transform him because the included instructions are literally just screenshots of this video. Some movements aren't depicted well in the instructions, and it wasn't until I realized it was video screenshots that I understood why some of the steps didn't make any sense.

@@al3x290 Yeah, I would say he's worth it. He feels great in the hands and both modes look great as well. If you follow this video the transformation isn't too confusing, but it's still probably not something that I will transform frequently.

And I keep wondering how did they make a MPM like Starscream and Jetfire that are just robots under a wing. They didn’t even care to make a robot under the main fuselage. And they called them Masterpiece Movie. Imagine a proper vehicle mode for them. It can be done. But they didn’t.

Had him for a few months now and only issue was the white paint on the front dot of the jet mode scratched off. Only paint on the figure that does that for some reason
