I am right with you on the no glue method! I was asking the same question, "Why glue if the factory didn't do it with glue?" Gonna give it another go! It is harder than it looks! 🤘
Yes sir, take your time
I had tried using adhesive spray, but had some mistakes on the first attempt, so had to take it apart again. The adhesive made it a pain. I saw your vid using tape and it worked like a charm on my second attempt. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to help
i’ve been searching high n low for the rebuild of the rvisor in my truck to put that paisley pattern like that. if i may ask if where you purchased your fabric but also did you use an underlying fabric or padding? did it come like that attached or did you paste them together prior? looks great ! well done i can’t wait i would dive in headfirst i just don’t want to waste any more time practicing and redoing redone attempts.
Bought medium weight fleece from Spoonflower.com they also sell on Amazon. No padding, glue directly to stock backer. I covered it all in the series of videos
Pretty slick. Nice job.
Thanks 👍
My sun visors lights stopped working what do I do??
