Liked the point about not dropping racquet head . I noticed that he kept his free hand close to or on the throat when he turned. that obviously helps to keep r head up.
I'm definitely someone who struggles with this shot and have taken a lot of lessons on short & midcourt balls. There's one additional tip that I find helpful and is closely related to your "go straight to the ball" tip. I was taught that the closer to the net I am, the shorter the backswing should be. The takeback gets more compact and the focus is on getting the racquet to the ball and then having a good follow through.
Thanks for sharing this tips with us "club tennis players". I play in Rome on clay court and the bounce is low and not high, but I'm going to try this morning.
My question is how to hit the ball when it is close to the net but not as high, is about net high, not a high bouncing ball. I either hit it into the net or hit it long and high. Thanks
Don’t you think overhead is much more easier and safe bet in this situation since the bounce is so high ? Or even, serve and volley is also great option since the serve is so good and returner is having hard time reaching to ball.

Exactly what I wanted. Thanks a lot. I have been running at the ball. I will change this today.

Yep! Love it. I’ll be sure to add that description to the idea of not dropping the racket. Thanks for watching!

Nice thank you for this ❤
thanks a lot. Only title could be with "short high forehands". I was struggled exactly with that type of my forehand
but the bounce was so far above the net it's easy to hit downwards. what if the bounce is low on a short ball? do these tips apply?

There was no way to serve and volley that ball. and no... that was not an over head.
🎉🎉❤
Thank you Rishi!
This higher balls are fine, i dont like slower and lower half court balls
