I just want to stop by and say thank you so much for this tutorial, yes i know the video is 4 years old but as a beginner diving into the ADK this has saved me so much of a headache figuring out how to link a Multiuse index number with a function and taught me a handful of other things that was very hard to find out how to go about, have my sub and my beer, thank you for taking the time to do this video.

I guess the answer to that is a very sad no, these were by far the best presented and most useful tutorials I have ever watched and will be a sad miss to the community now they have ceased, thank you for the past lessons they were awesome.

XD stuff takes intelligence man. its not for those who have average minds. its not something just anyone can do. if that were the case there would be no need for creators and users. there are many users but few creators of everything humanity uses in life. the creators are the people who have higher intellect. they make the rules and the assets everyone uses from cars to buildings to computer programs. then you have the users. these are the majority and the ones who use everything that is made. without creators they would never be able to use their cars or buildings or anything really. if you think im wrong just remember that the next time your computer or cellphone breaks ask yourself what you would normally do, you would take it to a repair man or throw it away and get another one with money. and its because your not the creator of these assets someone else is making you just the user. get it? of course people learn this knowledge all the time. the maker of this vid did. im learning it too. but it doesnt change what i said about having to be intelligent to be a creator of something and not just a user.

I don't know if you take requests but as I am new to modding through blueprints I thought I would ask if you could do as tutorial showing how to activate and object at a particular time of day in Ark, I have a solar panel mod but subscribers are asking for them not to run at night just to run during the day (which is logical) and to have a battery which is chargeable to run it at night. I would be eternally grateful if you could do this.

I know this was forever but if anyone could tell me how to make a multiuse entry that will open up a new section/menu to then select what I want to select that would be great

Thank you for this helpful tutorial. Awesome and Thumb up.
If you familar with it, i would love to see a tutorial on how to use ini files in to the graph to set variables for BP in the GameUserSettings like Placing Limits, Durability, Crafting Cost .....etc.
Hope you understand my thoughts xD
    Best wishes :)

love your vids man. the only thing that drives me nuts is your save and compile backwards stuff. even in c++ programming which is what this stuff is made of and yes i have C++ knowledge you always compile before you save. what your doing is saving your modified code before you compile it to the machine code computers use and it drives me nuts dude. other than that great tutorials.

If you know how the auto-backup stuff works in ADK, save then compile is the only sure way to make sure there is no lost data if kit crashes on compile. You can always pull the auto-backups of each blueprint file if there were ever to be a corrupt file. Not to mention, this is how Epic themselves teach it in their classes. The quick compile is only there to ensure there are no errors on the blueprint before PIE. You still also have to save the assets before you cook. So not sure where you are getting this idea that you are supposed to compile an unsaved file (never was taught that for cpp either, a source file has nothing to do with the resulting compiled file in terms of where/what its doing on the disk/machine).
