What did you end doing with the hose that goes to engine from middle of air box?

Did you have to jet the carbs? What size main and small jet did you start with? Go with?

Also looking to swap the stock airbox for pods. Please let me know what jet sizes you go with... I have a 1980G. Having trouble finding good info on jet sizes

Geoff /// M Nelson I went with the factory airbox, but my brother is doing pods on his next week. I will ask him

@@Marty62623 please do let me know! I'm super interested in getting pods going on my 78. Tho the factory airbox is awesome and works perfect. I just feel like switching up the look a little bit, more so than performance tbh. Thanks man!!

Geoff /// M Nelson so my brother (who is decently experienced with 80 Japanese bikes) says he is going to start by going up 2 OR 3 main jet sizes depending on whether the bike is already running really rich or not. If not running super rich, go up 3. If already running very rich, only 2.
And he says always go up 1 size on the pilot jets.

@@Marty62623 I'm gonna get back to ya in a week, have to see how it goes with your brother trying pods on his.. I made a little video on mine. I'm gonna do a lot to it so it's kinda just a quick take on the bike in its early.stages

Do you still have that air box that you are replacing with pods, I could use it.

I do, it's sitting on a shelf in my garage currently, I saw your other comment and unfortunately I sold the fairings, bags, and crash bar already. If you're interested in purchasing the air box let me know and we'll work something out.

Good video mate, can I just ask, does the tank have anything fixing it to the frame at the front? I’m putting one together but unsure. Atm I have bolted the rear of the tank with a rubber bung underneath. But when ridden the tank seems to be moving around a little at the front!!
