Hi, thanks for all you do, I do hope you answer very soon. I am writing the SPE Certification Exam in May not the PE Exam, as I am presently not in the US. Please suggest which practice problems I can use and please do you know anyone who has taken the exam recently?
أسامة بسام Hey, I do not have a list of the over discussed lessons, but basically if you look up the list of sections on the FE civil, it’ll display the sub sections which are on the exam, this will give an indication if something in the Lindenberg book is relevant or not.
@@Rob_Lerch Okay, I looked at it, but basically in the environmental and material parts, Lindbergh discussed deeply in them. What should we do ? If you just have looked over Lindbergh manual and select the pages that just have wasted our time🙏
Hey. Is the FE exam questions come in order [Math, statistics, PC tools, ethics, Eng Econ, Electric, static, and so on] as it shows in exam CBT specifications sheet. Or the questions all over the place? I hope you can still remember because I'm taking it a month from today,.
I failed with my exam last week i just focus in the ncees fe civil. 😭😭😭. . Do i need to buy also the fe civil ethic? I will retake it again never give up here, just need more help and advice here..
I would highly recommend taking a refresher course. I recommend the School of PE FE Civil review. I put the link in the description if you want to check it out!
Thank you so much, that was very helpful, Could you send us the link of the NCEES manual, I tried to get it but I found the Handbook not the manual and I don't know if they are the same, also there are ones that are effective through Jan of 2020 and ones that are effective after that, so could you tell me how much time does it take to study for the exam so I can get the right one? Thanks again for your effort.
Hi, great video! I bought the physical reference handbook because for me it is easy to study. I made some annotations on the handbook, so can I take it with me or just only the electronic version will be available on the exam? Thanks.
Do you need to study beyond the content of the fe manual? Is lindeburg practice test good to use? I notice lots of questions were not in the manual and digging deeper into the code.
Really depends on the student. I would recommend taking a practice exam to see where you currently stand. You only need about a 65-70% to pass the FE Exam.
Yasser Talib Part 1 consists of mathematics, ethics, statistics, statics, dynamics, economics, mechanics of materials, materials, fluid mechanics, and I believe hydrology. Part 2 covers structural Engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical Engineering, transportation engineering, construction, and surveying. This is just off of the top of my head. I would double check on the NCEES website, it will tell you all of the topics, how many questions are included for each, and which section they are in.
@@Rob_Lerch I appreciate the video. I purchased the testmasters course last year. I studied for the exam. I did not solve all the questions yet. I am confused because I do not know if I studied enough or not. And I am thinking how School of PE is different. Thanks,
Roberto Galindo Since the FE covers everything you learn in your University curriculum , a good time to start would be end of junior year. That would get you prepared to take the exam before or recently after you graduate.
I can't say they are exactly the same, as in just with different numbers. But they are the same level of difficulty. If you can comfortably solve the practice problems, you should be able to solve the one's on the exam.
@@elmz411 Best to find some more problems, and come back to the ones you memorized later on, and do them again. Most important thing is that you understand how to solve each problem, not memorize them.
@@jejeje3697 I was in grad school when I reviewed the material. I probably studied about 4 times a week. My advice to you would be to figure out a study schedule which suites you the best. If you can study an hour a day that's great. But if you can study a few hours for 3-4 days a week, that works too.

from where i can buy the FE civil review manual ,,,, i can't found it in amazon can you help me please
The NCEES sells it directly from their website!
It’s on amazon too, I bought it there because shipping is faster
I feel like the exam got harder lately. When did you take your exam? Also how much was the school of PE?
He took the FE NOT PE
The OnDemand version I took is $290/month. I'm not sure if the exam got harder, but it is weighted to account for difficulty level.

Do you do practice problems after reading the whole textbook or while you read the textbook or before hand?
