When i was a little girl i listen to this album, that was the first album i hear, and then i started to listen metal, the best decision i ever made, everything started with this band, precious memories of my childhood
We've had a lot of noise complaints. could you keep it down? Me: I AM THE URGE OF THE FLESH!!! Um... wha- Me: REMINDING THE MORTAL OF DEATH!!! Okay, thanks.
The Black Halo is about the tale of Faust (written by Goethe). This portion is him going "Fuck it, Mephistopheles, you take the wheel" after his love dies on him.
Hey Rockwell185 Thanks for doing a great job on this. I've known this song for years, but never looked further into Kamelot until tonight beyond that. I kind of like Center of the Universe, but I'm not sure what would be considered the "Good" Kamelot songs. I would really appreciate your help in directing me to more songs, or perhaps more songs of this kind from others as well :) Thanks for reading this, enjoy the holidays!
+Gungho73 Thank you for your kind words and I'm sorry for the late reply. Actually Kamelot is one of my most favourite bands so it's hard for me to choose between their songs, but I'll give it a try :P Before I do that though I think I should tell you than Roy Khan, who is singing this song left the band a few years ago. Kamelot's current vocalist is Tommy Karevik and he is singing in the last two albums "Silverthorn" and "Haven" in case you would like to check them out. Quite known songs from these albums that I also like are the songs "my confession" and "liar liar". Apart from that this song is from the album "black halo" (which I adore) and "center of the universe" is from the album "epica". Actually black halo is epica's sequel. Some songs that I love from these albums are "Farewell" ,"On the Coldest Winter Night", and "Lost and Damned" from epica and "The Haunting (Somewhere in Time)", "Abandoned" and "The Black Halo" from the black halo. "Ghost Opera" is also a very nice album from where I like "Rule the World", "The Human Stain" and "The Pendulous Fall". You should also check out "The Great Pandemonium" from the album "Poetry for the Poisoned", "Karma" from the album "Karma" and "A Sailorman's Hymn" from the album "The Fourth Legacy". I'm sorry if it's too long, it was hard for me to choose :P I hope it was helpful. Feel free to ask me anything again if you want^^
Death the Kid 666 I had heard this song first way back in 2010, but then fell out of listening to Kamelot for a few years. After watching and reading Ao no Exorcist I was like oh right, this song exists! A nice re-listen and I feel like this could work even for that Mephisto and his darker nature.

The vocal effects match the psycho-sadistic vibe he's going for perfectly.

anyone else get the feeling of a Nether world army marching when listening to this song
You mean some people didn't?
I had that kind of feeling, everytime I listen to this song 😊😊
For those that noted Roy Khan is American.... THINK Again!!!! He's from Norway!!!
The band is American though, maybe not all the members
The ultimate Kamelot song
Essa e tbm Alexandria...🤘👏👏👏👏👏
The voice of roy khan ⚡⚡⚡
To the infinity... and the beyond.
2:49 "Persona non grata".
Poor Ariel...
This song calms the voices in my head.
Dont get me wrong, Tommy is good. But it just seems like Roy can put more emotion into the lyrics
Roy is definitely superior. It's a crying shame, like the vocalist for the Rumjacks being replaced
It changes colors!!! All chakras aligned!!!
Dramatic Power And Gradation of this song is incredible - Great Power Metal Hymn!!!!!!!!!!!§§🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
This song reminds me of my friendship with some people.
This one is like an adrenaline injection.

Check out Memento Mori, its my favorite song by them
Wow they have a LOT of content!
I can give you a playlist of kamelot Faust: epica and the black halo
This song makes me think of an Imperial Guard march from Warhammer 40k
James Scott into the jaws of death, into the mouths of hell.
Mephisto is a marvel comics character
@@davidmettille9200 and warhammer 40k had a bad mini series comic made by marvel
Sounds more like a chaos space marines song
Vocals are actually done by both Roy Khan and Shagrath
This song is so confusing but I LOVE IT!!!

Rockwell185 Thanks!
I speaketh , is it gramatically correct ?
Old English such as the words maketh, giveth, taketh. I think it sounds great in this song.
It's "I speak of the truth"
Lenixion No, it’s not.
_eat your heart out, christopher nolan_

I think this song is inspired by Mephistofeles in Gete's Faust. Am I mistaken?
Yes. The whole albums Epica and The Black Halo were
