Good luck on you continuing journey :) I myself have been collecting physical music media (mainly metal of course) since I was 11, i currently have 623 cds, a big ass book cd for xasthurs “victims of the times” album, a mr bungle reissue “yearbook” cd of their Easter bunny demo, annd I own 4 box sets: Abbath dread reaver, misery index rituals of power, vermilia ruska (n/a of 100) and brouillard, brouillard (79 / 86) I have 13 vinyl records all carefully selected and only albums I love and wanted on vinyl as well as cd or that I couldn’t get on cd, and then 14 cassettes which are of albums that only had cassette for physical release. And last but not least I own 2 signed cds by a band called “briar rose” (think a mixture of Motörhead, kreator and guns & roses) one cd (their 2nd release Dark Lord) is signed by the entire band, each signature next to the band member on the inner booklet, and then their first album “roses are rare, violence is true” by the vocalist Randy Blake II in person. Your collection is definitely more impressive though!

Nice collection. Yeah i'm somewhere between 5000 - 6000 cds. Its harder to keep track of the amount at this point. I have about the same amount of dvds too. The thing is i had to put half my collection in sleeves and got rid of the cases because i was running out space.

Ahh Breeders, I remember having that album for Christmas in highschool. Soon as I found Skinny Puppy I started selling off many of these bands around this time period. Concrete blonde stayed in my collection. I got it the same day. Such an awesome voice.
No Fear Factory???? Just getting through F section 😎, I remember rushing to the store for FLA Hard Wired and Live Wired then I pulled the trigger and grabbed all the Die Krupps at the time. I was making a little money and you know where I was spending it all.
Holy... This was so awesome!! I love to see when collectors gave their opinions on as many albuns as possible! A lot of the albuns you spoke about are now in my wishlist for future purchases! My collection in total sits at 286, including a few vinyls an 4 cassete taps, but one day I hope to reach the 1000 mark too!

I have 1105 CDs until this week, haha (bought 7 used VG+ on a local record fair this past saturday 01/04/2023), I still have about 500 on my Discogs wishlist, but get rid of about 100 in the last 3 years that I sold to friends or in the Marketplace. I discover that having whole discographies wasn't my thing anymore, well with some exceptions.
I had only tried everflowing and indecent so far. Your take on massive killing capacity got me interested again on discovering Dismember. I'll surely check it out. Make more videos like this one, especially Death Metal ones. Subscribed!

Glad you got Acid Bath in your stellar collection dude! When I was in high school, my older brother was an assistant at Festival Studios where they would record Paegan Terrorism Tactics a few years later. The studio was closed most Sundays and my brother had a key, so we would go in and play around with Cake Walk, Pro Tools, and the DAT machine. I even sang in the vocal booth while my bro recorded it! I play a few Dax Riggs songs on acoustic and got to show off my stuff at an art gallery in Denver when I lived there :) Keep on making cool vids man.

Also about Queensrÿche, their newer albums with Todd La Torre actually went back to their heavy roots and are worth checking out! (Even though Mike’s the only og member left). That is one awesome CD turntable shelf. I have a few table top turntable shelves, but they display the CD's horizontally, which unfortunately causes dust to get to them easier. I might need to invest in one of these here.
I have a compilation from Alice Cooper called The Definitive Alice Cooper and it had the single version of welcome to my nightmare and I think since that was the first I heard it sounded more natural to me. Excellent video and I appreciate there's more shown in here.
Your collections great, bigger than mine unorganized one. The most expensive CD I've ever bought at the usual store I got to was the $15, that being an alternative cover for Holocausto's " Campo De Extermino " which I highly recommend listening too.

Your collection is amazing! I recently sold all my records and replaced them with CD cause I realize I can get rare metal albums for a more reasonable price instead paying hefty prices with vinyl. Plus CD sounds a lot better than vinyl also like ripping my songs to FLAC and listening to them on my phone.

This was a great video of your whole collection. I loved your Deicide Box Sets. I also hope you make that video about Pantera's 1996 album TGSTK. For the past several months I went over my entire cassette/vinyl/CD collection and documented it all accurately on Discogs. When you open a Discogs account and you only look at barcodes and category numbers, then years later you'll be horrified at how much you got wrong. Plus there was stuff that needed to be added and a few things I wanted mistakenly marked as owned. Years of on-the-job learning has paid off. The only disagreements I have is that the 2003 Queensryche Remasters sound great and they got every bonus track on each album that they should have and I have a passion for Russian imports.
Nice collection. Lots of death metal. 🤘. I have more thrash and metal core in mine. Will start collecting death metal when I can. I have a pretty good variety as well. I have 1572 cds so far. Waiting for a couple pre orders as well.
Dissection's The Somberlain---2 disk one---I have it as well. Well worth it, amazing album. And that Joy Division album spotted. A must-listen to. And Queensryche's Rage for Order. I could listen to that one 10,000 times. No joke.
