GPR max power unrestricted is about 20bhp, it's pretty much a toy compared to the RS, Mito, NSR etc. The only thing it has going for it is the look, which I gotta say is pretty cool.
It's not the same, the yamaha dt125 engine in the gpr is about 10hp less powerful than the ones in mito & rs. A mito with arrow or jollymoto blows the gpr out of the water, and it has other better components like brakes and suspension.
It depends on the gear ratio, but yeah, mito and rs leave gpr riders looking at tail lights from afar. Derbis are generally considered mid to low quality bikes, just look at their supermotos. Still, I got to hand it to them, the gpr (racing version) is pretty cool when it comes to looks, the nude version is just vomit inducing.
Well theres a guy on a forum im on who does his own porting got 33 rear wheel horse power from the rs he uses 15/37 gearing and does 0-60 mph in 5 seconds and still has top speed of 101 Thats seriously quick for an rs and probably not far from twice as fast as the gpr
