    Worked for them, quit when they told me I HAD to run multiple logs, and then they said they fired me. Every driver there is FORCED to run illegally.

      Electronic log falsification is very, very, very common and it has been serially reported to FMCSA for years and they haven't done a thing about it except issue computer generated complaint numbers.

    I blame it the FMCSA. Elogs were supposed to fix all this, it only made it worse along with the stupid 14 hour clock. Trucking companies from other countries running US highways with drivers who can’t speak or read English. Would like to know how many of these companies there are.

      A while back I gave a driver directions to his destination (he was maybe 12 miles away from it) He didn't speak a word of English but he was able to read the map I drew for him. Sign of the future, hm? You know they are going to be hiring these illegal migrants (& maybe pay the 10 cents a mile or some poverty wage)

    Immigrants do not need to be in trucking for basic national security issues

    Anything to get that load delivered regardless of who gets killed. More dispatchers and drivers likely know about this but with their jobs and futures on the line they go along as they will be blackballed if they balk. That driver whistleblower will never drive a truck again unless as an owner operator.

    The very thing that ELECTRONIC LOGBOOKS was MANDATED in trucking to prevent. Once you certify the editing that was done, it's on you the driver. That's how companies pass the buck. If you don't certify, you sit and volunteer your time unpaid if you aren't paid hourly which most trucking companies do not. That's another can of worms.

    What did you expect with this elog scam. Until drivers are paid by the hour with overtime after 40, nothing will change. But a driver can and should refuse this

    Have you noticed that since the government and people making the laws and have never driven a truck in their lives decided that they know best that accidents have gone up. State troopers that have never even been in a truck can tell you how to drive cant do it themselves but the law says thats how it works so thats the way it is. Glad I got out before the gov got in.

      I hung it up in 2017 and never looked back. Besides more regs, it was the driver facing cameras that can see and hear everything you do and I said nope that's going too far.

    • @terrelle5087
      @terrelle5087 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don't forget about these trucks nowadays basically babysitting the driver..
      The camera detected whether you have on your seat belt and if the doors are closed.
      If u don't do neither
      The camera annoys you 😒

    This will end up being what they call in trucking, a Nuclear Judgement. Tens of millions of dollars. Also, any company's safety department can “correct” e-logs. This reminds me of the Walmart truck that rear ended Tracy Morgan's party bus and killed Jimmy McNair. Walmart has deep pockets. I doubt Tritan does and will end up going to jury. Accidents of this nature pretty much happen every day somewhere in the US.

    Sad news feels sorry for this family loss BUT zas an experience truck driver I can say safety rules 11 hours leads us to bankruptcy becouse with the increase of operational cost this is the only industry running begins in money terms so what I means 11 hours driving is ridiculously stupid this is our trucks and we have to have right to operate as much we need to make money just stop too many ROOKIES a that’s the real problem here in those days
