You are so lucky having such lovely weather! In the UK we are having a fair amount of rain. I think you should have your desk so you can look out of the window and keep an eye on the weather all through the year. It will be a lovely distraction.

LOL I LOVED Jackson singing through Walmart. I used to get to the check out and every week the workers would tell me they knew I would be checking out soon because they could hear my son all through the store singing the entire shopping trip too! Oh the memories.

Oh my gosh Jackson's version of the ABC's were straight up perfection, not gonna lie. 😂😍❤️ Edit: on the subject of the desk placement, I think it's going to be difficult to tell exactly how you want it until the place is built up a bit more. Everybody is commenting L-shaped desk, but I don't know, every L shape desk I've ever had has obnoxiously dominated the scene and felt a bit "too much", and there's just something so much more nice and clean and minimal about a standard desk. Just my opinion though! I do think the guitars behind the desk would look awesome though. :)

Hi Jared, I recommend that you place your desk so you face the window. That way you will be able to see your beautiful guitars on the wall and you won't have glare on your monitors. Also, consider having a simple folding chair in the corner and maybe 4-6 more folding chairs stored downstairs in case you want to have several people over for a meeting. You can get them in black vinyl which looks really nice. (I have them in my office) and they won't block off part of your beautiful window like a couch would. Keeping in mind that you may already have a file cabinet and shelving and other equipment you need in your office.
How fun! This brought back so many good memories! I played on that ramp in the pool for HOURS growing up!!! I forgot about it until this video. The boys have grown up SO much!!!

Also, another random thought about Ellie's pink chairs. I don't remember if you said you were going to get them recovered or keep them pink. But if you do recover them, you should keep some of the original fabric and have pillows made out of them - they'd be so pretty!

Jared- keep in mind if your desk is across the window you'll have to lean over it to open the blinds/curtains. If you use curtains you'll have to have your desk pulled out enough to have them fall properly. Not to mention it won't look the greatest. Also, keep in mind the heat. If the sun is coming in it will be hot, hot, hot and very bright right where your computer will be. I would place it in front of the wall and maybe put a sofa across from it. You'll still have the view and this way it will be unobstructed by a desk and a chair and stuff on your desk. Just my thoughts :) Excited for you two!

I'd put your desk towards the door so you have a pretty view when you walk into your office and you can look outside if you look to your right, and then a couch somewhere at the window/wall would be pretty! Or maybe an L-shaped desk, so you can sit both ways! But the guitars on the walls are a must; sounds great!!
