Remember when it was unacceptable for Bo to win 9 games. I'm a Born Nebraskan and am glad to see Frost the savior loose. Invested soo much money and confidence into such a young coach. I wish Bo was back.
Frost was a young and inexperienced coach that was given too much to chew moving from a weaker to a much tougher conference. Bo was content with staying where he was, winning 9 or 10 games and going to a bowl game. Yes he did go do a couple conference championships, but was never able to to make the leap to championship play in the long term. Pedersons ego got in the way and we fired him without having a real game plan to move forward which is why we’re stuck in a rut for so long afterwards. Rhule has a lot of potential and missing a lot of the things that Frost didn’t have including experience rebuilding programs and coaching experience in general.
How quickly some of these players are forgotten about!! Incredible athletes... put their "heart and souls" into the program...10 years later, forgotten about!

Happily, gazpachos have gotten smoother since (gracias, el blender!), though the trick that imparts its velvety texture-soaking the bread in the liquid first-remains fundamental.
The 99 yarder to Enunwa was really about 99.9 yards. The play before Armstrong got tackled with the ball about an inch outside the goal line, so that play is the longest possible TD in history.
I still can’t believe I was midstream in an Everbank Stadium’s bathroom when Quincy caught that ball... Sat in the freezing rain all game, hung over from New Years Eve, and missed the best play of the game. Smh.
I sat out in that rain too. I had a $2 rain poncho that went to pieces when Enunwa caught it and took off. By the time he crossed the goal line I was about 3 rows down and 6 seats left if where I was when the play started.
I would’ve put the Northwestern throw from the 3rd stringer first and replaced the Vonn strip with the Janovich run. Solid, enjoyable video. To think, the whole time we had T. Martinez and Tommy Armstrong, people were complaining. Look at us now. Hopefully, next years quarterback isn’t a big dud.

I didn't know Nebraska was still playing football this decade. I thought they quit last century. The last time they won a Conference Championship was 1999.
Unfortunately we have not tasted greatness since 1993-1995, and Eric Crouch. Hopefully that will change since we can legally pay players now. We got plenty of money and the passionate fans to make a couple championship capable teams. Having the larger tournament 🏟️ we help as well.
I was at 8 of the top 10 moments......... It's crazy how almost the entire list was a bunch of Pelini's boys......yet he's been gone for 6 years. Yet many still believe that Riley & Frost are better coaches than him.......
i think frost is a better coach than him. we looked a lot better against osu despite the blowout and i think we got a lot to look forward to in the coming years

(I love the young talent I'm seeing on the offensive line).....but you are trying to compare something that we HOPE happens (a lot to look forward to), to something that has happened (9.5 wins per season with 3 trips to the CCG). At this point Pelini is the proven better coach....He came in after a 5-7 season and turned that roster into a 9-4 team and was a 10-4 team that was .01 sec off beating #2 Texas in the CCG to go to a BCS Bowl in his second year. Meanwhile Frost has won 9 total games since taken over the program over 2 seasons ago. I have faith that Frost will stir the ship right. I like what he's doing, but the reality is....results are more important when it's shown on the scoreboard.

One of my biggest issues with him is he never went after talented assistants. He would hire his "buddies" to coach along side him. I understand you want to have someone you trust but there were A LOT of his assistants who was given their first position or coordinating job under Pelini. If you look at the most respected coaches in CFB, they all have respective offensive/defensive minds on staff with them. Proven guys. When Pelini first arrived, that first bunch he had with Sanders and his big brother and others....that staff was a championship caliber staff. As they started to leave for various reasons, after the 2009/2010 season, we started to see the struggles that we are frustrated with in the Pelini era. I still feel that the 09 defense and 2010 defensive are 2 of the greatest defenses we have had in Lincoln. If we'd of had just an average offense in 09, we could have been conference champs and competing in the national title game. Pelini also was prideful about trying to force a wide receiver to play quarterback just because he was faster than everyone.
