Started watching your videos a couple of weeks ago and really enjoy your reviews. The Food in this restaurant looked delicious and good value. I tried Brazilian food once in Liverpool and it was fantastic😊
I was once a migrant, and I can tell you, without these cheap great-value migrant eateries, most of us would starve or go broke ! When I was in Paris summer of 2017, the Arab shops near the Gare Du Nord came to my rescue with delicious cheap meals and tea like you had at the Persian restaurant. The French places just ripped me off because I couldn't make my way to the top-notch bistros.
One of the things I always notice about the channel is how you are so complementary about the restaurant staff Gary. Having watched your videos since the beginning, I’ve noticed that the great service you generally receive is partly down to your own impeccable manners and the respect that you give the staff. Lesson for everyone watching really! Please and thanks costs nothing!
I'd agree, my first job was working in a nightclub and most the people forgot their Ps & Qs and will confess those who hadn't I'd normally serve them first when they came back to the bar. I've found I'm not alone in that and when I order I always try and smile too cos working behind a bar is a grim job.
I completely agree with you, as someone who has dealt with the general public for half my life you will always get a more pleasnt result if you treat others the same way you would like to be treated.

Steakhouse!!! Yes! Meats.😁 £14.95 is a good price. I like chicken hearts but they are very rich. The salad looked really good. That's exactly what you need with a meat heavy menu. Why do you do it to yourself with the chilli sauce?? Chicken thigh is my favourite part! Nice and juicy. The rump steak looked delicious and the ham even better. Just how I like it. Garlic steak looked very well well done. Lol. Perfect cooking on the sausage. Very crispy on the outside and really hot on the inside. At that price, it's great for a weekly treat lunch for two. That's a 9 out of 10 for me but the price makes it 10. That's yet another excellent review.
Hi Gary, been there a couple of times, it was really good. It's quite authentic Brazilian, but a few things have been adapted to British taste. But as I said, it was always very good and both the meats, vegetables and especially their Chorizo is quite authentic. So we did really enjoy it, but, there is always a but, the second time we went there the noise level was off the charts and I almost couldn't hear what my wife was saying. But the service is very good, the meats are great and for a lunch, you can't almost beat the price. The only thing, except for the noice, the beef was a bit overdone for our liking. Your Picanha is considered the jewel of beef in South America, but it has to be precut the correct way, but from my point of view, yours was a bit overdone as well. But glad you liked it and I missed you putting the Chimi Churri sauce on your meats. Another fantastic review, mate, keeping up the best work on TH-cam at the moment! Re the noise level, yes, often found that with restaurants in Clapham/Tooting/Brixton/Streatham. The trouble is they have to squeeze as many in as possible when they're such good value, plus the natural exuberance of a lot of the locals. I have great difficulty following conversation on my own table in these circs.
Fogo de Chão is really good. I highly recommend people go here over the more well known Preto. The quality of food and flavour is much better and they have more of the traditional Brazilian sides if you wish. It's also far cheaper than Preto.
Glad to see these are making it to the UK, when I moved to the US nearly 15 years ago it was one of the things I enjoyed the most as a new culinary experience! One thing it seems you missed out on, that is a staple of the non-meat options at Brazilian steakhouses, is the pao de queijo, which is an AMAZING cheese bread that they serve. Always a favorite of mine when I visit Rodizio Grill or Tucanos, which are the two big Brazilian steakhouses where I am. Glad you enjoyed it though, it's a very filling dining experience for sure!
Wow, what a collection of foods on one plate. Incredible value. and it all looked piping hot and very appetising. They even served your meat at the table, and all for 14 95, plus return visits to the buffet. You cannot complain about this, oh and the staff were very nice too. A well deserved 9.5!

There used to a place like this in Liverpool which sadly did not survive lock down. I remember the extras were great and was where I tried oxtail for the first time as they had traditional Brazilian ox tail stew. I was great cos then my friend and I would sit at our table about every 3 minutes a member of staff would turn up with different season steak and ask us if we wanted a slice or two. We had to go for a long walk around Liverpool city centre and docks. The steaks were a little cooked than my taste likes but very nice but it was an amazing dining experience.
Wow Gary, bargain price and concept and an all round great lunch by the looks of things. The service charge is incredible considering they're constantly going around serving meats off the skewers. Very well run, and not surprised it got so busy so quickly. Easily a 9 and a half score but the review gets a golden 10 ⭐️

It just shows even by using cheaper meat cuts like ham hock, rump, Chicken harts and thigh's, with the right herbs and spices and cooking method that's all it takes. I don't think anyone will critique that place due to the price and quality, and i would 100% go here. Chris.
I Used to live 5 mins from there lol The high street has changed so much over the years ,and for the better ,great places to eat now .What a great find ,great food ,great value ,and great service also . Thanks for the review , wow what a great place, will be there some day, not too far from where i live, excellent food. This has got to be one of the best budget options for food in Clapham for what you get & all freshly grilled & delivered to the table. Man i am impressed.
I have been to Brazil twice, and this restaurant is amazingly authentic. The range of salads (which you ignored) is always amazing. The only thing I did not like was the chicken hearts, same as you. I was surprised that you started with a full plate of hot food. Salad leaves more space for the endless meat. Price was really unbelievable, especially in London. You did not mention it, but the meats are normally barbecued.
Looked great that Gary! We have a good Rodizio in Weymouth, and it's my 10 yr old's favourite restaurant. It's about double the price of where you went though, so it's definitely a treat once in a while only! Although it's fair to say, she gets her money's worth, eats about her own body weight in meat there!
What a great place, Gary! I visited a Brazilian restaurant in Chicago many years ago and it was brilliant with lot´s of good meat, a huge salad selection and excellent service!
Spot on and the recommendation goes further than a service charge. They will have plenty of orders this week just on your recommentation, so it works out and everyone wins. As long as the staff are recieving their tips of course. Not always the case. No names mentioned.
I've seen several videos for FDC and pass by the Center City Philadelphia branch frequently. I've never been tempted, until now. Your videos are well done, informative, and in this case, very convincing. They would never get rid of me! On a side note, "That's a nice piece of rump." has definite marketing potential.
There is a chain of restaurants in the U.S. called Fogo de Chao that's also a Brazilian all you can eat. And the U.S. one uses very high quality meats and is about $80 per person.

Hi Gary That looked amazing quality for the price you paid. I went to a similar Brazilian restaurant in Prague about 15 years ago and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The lamb was the best lamb I have ever eaten. Yours was a smaller place but same format with delicious salads and other hot foods and then the main event of the meats being brought around. I agree 9.5 out of 10 is the right score for that. Excellent review as usual. Outstanding value for money
Gary, when you try Rodizio, most people refuse the first few servings as the meat quality tends to improve as the meal progresses. Don't fill up at the start. I live in Portugal and have been to loads of Brazilian restaurants, and that has been my experience every time. Under 15 quid for all that is amazing, especially in London. Next time, try the black beans and pork. Gut-busting but so good.
Unbelievable - quantity and quality ticks my boxes and what a lovely looking place. Great staff and so nice you gave them credit. Even those chicken hearts looked appetising. Clapham added to my list 👍
Not heard of the Brazilian steakhouse but what value for money that is. Like the whole idea and they come round with various meats and the restaurant looked very modern and fresh. Definitely one to try.

The salad bar at Fogo de Chao is a great great deal here in Texas. Very high quality and variety of food without breaking the bank for the full carnivore version.
Hey Gary m8, I’ve been to Brazilian steakhouses in Boston, Glasgow, Brisbane, and Orlando. All different, but all brilliant fun and excellent food. The hard part is not over filling on the salads etc before the meats arrive😃😃👍👍another great review m8👍👍
This looked to be a very nice establishment indeed and very fair value for the money. I did wonder whether the same menu is available at weekends, no doubt for a higher price? Another one for my growing list! Your reviews are always very consistent and therefore I feel confident I can watch them and certainly, marking-wise, come up with a number that mostly ties in very closely or exactly with your own. I'll be interested to see your upcoming reviews from further afield. Your efforts are appreciated and I see your channel constantly growing, well done.
This restaurant seems very authentic. I am a frequent visitor to the algarve and the locals eat at places called takeaway or self service. At some of the larger ones they have this exact unlimited carving of meat at your table.
Another great review Gary that looks an absolute gem of a place......Great value especially for the South....there was one near us in Nottingham but it closed about 5 years ago..Tropeiro we went a few times was exactly the same menu and concept 🙂

I was a bit surprised that they have Italian lasagna at a Brazilian restaurant 🤷♀, but good all-you-can-eat buffets apparently do exist after all. Awesome! I can't wait to see the results of your trip through the country.
I’ve been to one in my area, also excellent quality and service, what I did notice is the “better “ cuts of meat tend to be served towards the end of your meal, so you have to reserve yourself earlier on or your full up. Hope to see you “up north “ soon.

WOW...just for comparison...in the US, $18.00 USD for lunch and it is ONLY the salad bar, incredible as it is, but some smoked meats and cheeses. Only hot item is soup. For what you got...lunch here is $45.00 USD dinner is roughly $65.00...that is an incredible deal!!! Great Job once again !!!
Sold! I've watched a few of your videos but this for me is the best. Reason I say that is because I made my mind up midway through the video that I'm going to go there and try it for myself. I will drive down from Stratford upon Avon. This will be my destination and I can do a few other things whilst I'm there for the day. Haven't been down to the Big Smoke for almost a year. How can you go wrong at fifteen quid for all that delicious food. No big deal if there's something you don't like, leave it aside and get something else. As always, thanks for the great review.
Quite a different story over here in the USA. I love Fogo de Chão but it's expensive. The "all you can eat" dinner option is $63.50 per person and the lunch, all you can eat is $44.50 per person. They do offer a 1 meat choice for dinner (includes the salad bar) for $39 and the Pichana is amazing. Overall it's a great experience. I was very surprised at how small that location was where you were filming, the one over here in Troy, Michigan could likely seat 300 people and it's always full!

I have been to Brazil twice, and this restaurant is amazingly authentic. The range of salads (which you ignored) is always amazing. The only thing I did not like was the chicken hearts, same as you. I was surprised that you started with a full plate of hot food. Salad leaves more space for the endless meat. Price was really unbelievable, especially in London.
You did not mention it, but the meats are normally barbecued.

Looked great that Gary! We have a good Rodizio in Weymouth, and it's my 10 yr old's favourite restaurant. It's about double the price of where you went though, so it's definitely a treat once in a while only! Although it's fair to say, she gets her money's worth, eats about her own body weight in meat there!

What a great place, Gary! I visited a Brazilian restaurant in Chicago many years ago and it was brilliant with lot´s of good meat, a huge salad selection and excellent service!

Spot on and the recommendation goes further than a service charge. They will have plenty of orders this week just on your recommentation, so it works out and everyone wins. As long as the staff are recieving their tips of course. Not always the case. No names mentioned.

I've seen several videos for FDC and pass by the Center City Philadelphia branch frequently. I've never been tempted, until now. Your videos are well done, informative, and in this case, very convincing. They would never get rid of me! On a side note, "That's a nice piece of rump." has definite marketing potential.

There is a chain of restaurants in the U.S. called Fogo de Chao that's also a Brazilian all you can eat. And the U.S. one uses very high quality meats and is about $80 per person.

That looked amazing quality for the price you paid. I went to a similar Brazilian restaurant in Prague about 15 years ago and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The lamb was the best lamb I have ever eaten. Yours was a smaller place but same format with delicious salads and other hot foods and then the main event of the meats being brought around. I agree 9.5 out of 10 is the right score for that.

Gary, when you try Rodizio, most people refuse the first few servings as the meat quality tends to improve as the meal progresses. Don't fill up at the start. I live in Portugal and have been to loads of Brazilian restaurants, and that has been my experience every time. Under 15 quid for all that is amazing, especially in London. Next time, try the black beans and pork. Gut-busting but so good.

Not heard of the Brazilian steakhouse but what value for money that is. Like the whole idea and they come round with various meats and the restaurant looked very modern and fresh. Definitely one to try.

The salad bar at Fogo de Chao is a great great deal here in Texas. Very high quality and variety of food without breaking the bank for the full carnivore version.

Hey Gary m8, I’ve been to Brazilian steakhouses in Boston, Glasgow, Brisbane, and Orlando. All different, but all brilliant fun and excellent food. The hard part is not over filling on the salads etc before the meats arrive😃😃👍👍another great review m8👍👍

This looked to be a very nice establishment indeed and very fair value for the money. I did wonder whether the same menu is available at weekends, no doubt for a higher price? Another one for my growing list!

This restaurant seems very authentic. I am a frequent visitor to the algarve and the locals eat at places called takeaway or self service. At some of the larger ones they have this exact unlimited carving of meat at your table.

I was a bit surprised that they have Italian lasagna at a Brazilian restaurant 🤷♀, but good all-you-can-eat buffets apparently do exist after all. Awesome! I can't wait to see the results of your trip through the country.

I’ve been to one in my area, also excellent quality and service, what I did notice is the “better “ cuts of meat tend to be served towards the end of your meal, so you have to reserve yourself earlier on or your full up. Hope to see you “up north “ soon.

WOW...just for comparison...in the US, $18.00 USD for lunch and it is ONLY the salad bar, incredible as it is, but some smoked meats and cheeses. Only hot item is soup. For what you got...lunch here is $45.00 USD dinner is roughly $65.00...that is an incredible deal!!! Great Job once again !!!

I've watched a few of your videos but this for me is the best. Reason I say that is because I made my mind up midway through the video that I'm going to go there and try it for myself.
I will drive down from Stratford upon Avon. This will be my destination and I can do a few other things whilst I'm there for the day. Haven't been down to the Big Smoke for almost a year.
How can you go wrong at fifteen quid for all that delicious food. No big deal if there's something you don't like, leave it aside and get something else.

Quite a different story over here in the USA. I love Fogo de Chão but it's expensive. The "all you can eat" dinner option is $63.50 per person and the lunch, all you can eat is $44.50 per person. They do offer a 1 meat choice for dinner (includes the salad bar) for $39 and the Pichana is amazing. Overall it's a great experience.
I was very surprised at how small that location was where you were filming, the one over here in Troy, Michigan could likely seat 300 people and it's always full!
