It is a Michael Kiesling game. It has exactly the same replayability as Azul. I like it a bit. Will it hit the table every week, probably not. But it has a place in our collection.
What is funny to me is that people either really, really like this game and are giving it an 8.5 or a 9 out of 10 or really, really, think there isn't enough to it to even want to play a second game. I like the element of a race in a game, and there is a race for those pattern tiles. My biggest beef is that the score board is impossible to look at, and with the patterned cards, and the pattern tiles all crammed together is just a visual nightmare. The player board is lovely, though. It is gorgeous, but I think it is getting donated to the local library.
