Mississippi State wants you to speak up against the sec officiating now, Mike. If you thought this was bad, wait till you get a dose of how corrupt sec officiating and replay is.
He needs to speak on the SEC officiating. It's the worst in the country. Zero integrity. Remember when a ref tackled a UofSC QB. Turned out he was a former linebacker for Kentucky back in his day. They need to vet and hire and train really good officials. Its an integral part of the game.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA spoken like a true reject. “But but but…. They protect the longhorns!!! 😭😭😭” do y’all understand how big of babies y’all come across as with these lame excuses? Don’t blame texas for just flat being superior to your reject school lol
@@FaintAura what preferential treatment? You do realize that Texas and OU’s big 12 opponents (18 games total) had 4 total holds called on them ALL SEASON? Texas literally gets the opposite of “preferential treatment” 😂🤣
What I've noticed over the years is that the Big 12 protects its money makers - Texas and OU. If a school has a legit Heisman candidate, that school will get extra calls its way - probably regardless of which school it is. I would bet $10000 that the Big 12 heavily analyzes its teams and progress over the year and then they constantly project who will make it to the Big12 Champ game and who has the best shot at the college invitationals. The Big12 will then favor the school(s) that it wants to get there.
Let's say OU is a lock, which they are almost every year to get to the conference champ game. Then there are 2 teams vying for the 2nd spot in that game. An 8-2 ISU vs. a 7-3 Texas. The Big12 is going to favor Texas in a matchup vs ISU because a Texas vs. OU CCG creates a lot more revenue and buzz. That's how its been done.
If he was 60 when he died in 2022, then he was only 45 here. He doesn't look that much different. Just goes to show you that death is coming to sneak up on us at any moment. And he led a pretty healthy lifestyle.
Worse thing tech ever did was get rid of leach. 😢
Craig James whining over his son's treatment
😢 sad too
Dig him and start going 7-5 again.
RIP Pirate, anyone who has watched Texas/Texas Tech knows he is 100% accurate
He's a dead little MAGAt.
RIP Coach
Great man
Influenced football on all levels
Too good for tech
No he didn't. He was a 500 football coach. 😅
When Mike Leach spoke, people listened. I'll miss the Pirate. RIP
Like any trained attorney, he doesn't answer questions he doesn't already know the answer to/moves his narrative along.
15 years later, officiating is worse than ever. Rip coach
RIP Mike Leach. Legend
He was absolutely right about this game, the officiating was awful.
Mike Leach is an international treasure.
I miss the Pirate! Classic Mike Leach. 🎤
Ironic that after this year, tech beat Texas when UT was ranked #1 in 2008.
And this interview and that game is what got him fired...UT was totally behind the railroad job to run Mike out of the conference.
@@85baretta46 a damn shame. He was a really genuine man and coach.
@@85baretta46I don't know about that. I do know the kid's dad was in the media. That right there is enough.
Something about playing in Lubbock at night. It was always hard to win there at night. Very strange.
they are the lords of the plains lol@@jackburton4892

You got that right. He was too smart for the good ole boys!
Praying for you Mike!

Facts
Refs only take orders from NCAA headquarters out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
This man never knew how HUGE he was for the game. Life taken too soon. He was too GREAT. BLESS You coach.
He was such A POS his own family didn't care he croacked.
Greatness!! The league crumbled over the refs being biased to ut!!!

Refs having beem sucking off UT since the SWC days.
Two replies gone, blanked.
@@asics1149 when you come to the SEC, you won't be experiencing that same preferential treatment you had in the Big XII

The Pirate is the man. There's only one like him for sure. Go Ole Miss.
I remember this well. UT will be at the bottom of the SEC.
Don't but in. Raise your hand. Priceless!
All UT players get a trophy after each game and a safe space in the field house....
Lol tough talk coming from a tech fan. Texas has won, what… 20 of the last 22? Bahahahahahaha guns up, grades down, STDs all around!!
Wah! The officials caused us to give up 59 points. 😂
In-other words....Games are fixed by the NCAA and refs take the orders.
Man I miss coach leach. I love the fact he mentioned the bad call against miami vs osu.
Mikey two-times... For obvious reasons (see "Goodfellas" if dont get the reference). Love this guy

2009 Texas's extra second to screw over Nebraska puke texas
It's all scripted out of Indianapolis, Indiana NCAA headquarters and refs only follow orders.
Missouri got screwed by bad officiating when playing Texas. They added time to the game so that Texas could win the game.
Coach Leach is so good.
Clear as a bell..
Miss ol Mike,he was a good coach! Still pissed tech got beat by Chokelahoma so bad.
Love Bro Leach!
I wish he would act like this toward sec officiating. It’s directly cost his team two losses this year.
Does anyone recall this game? I’m about to go look it up and watch it
Yes. The calls against Tech in Austin were absolutely unbelievable. Tech should have won that game.
The Pirate has a nice head of hair.
This is Amped Up Coach

Who can agree that he is the modern day Woody Hayes?
Reporter "why did you go for 2?" Woody "because I couldn't go for 3"

He looks as bad as he does today. Aging well.
Quit being critical of others looks, its beneath you
He's now coaching hells football team. Every year they go 7-5 or worse.
Mike Leach is a national treasure.
