I was surprised when u said this was out of print. I saw two copies at a local game store. The French version was $20 cheaper so i got that and just downloaded english rules! FYI the french version says Gigamic on the box instead of rio grande and it has the nice components shown in your video. What an interesting game! I was actually very excited to just watch you play it. I look forward to teaching this to others. Your video really pumped this game up for me. Thanks for that. Cant wait till my kids are old enough to play :)
This is the favorite game for my two sons (9 and 10) and they never seem to get tired of it. Me neither. It is simple to learn and addictive. I was very lucky to grab the last one from a supermarket on a ridiculously cheap sale price. I am still struggling to find another game that they would like as much as this one.
I knew I had seen this game somewhere before and it was on the front page of my local gaming store's website. I don't know what shipping is like because they offer free local delivery. Check out woodforsheep dot ca and ask about shipping if you're not in the Toronto area.

Hey Rahdo, thx for another great video! Between Tobago, Clank, Tikal, Thurn & Taxis, Imhotep and Bunny Kingdom, which one would be your pick as a family game, that lasts up to 60 minutes to play? I m only asking your opinion, so no worries if you think you are not suitable to answer :) Thank you!
depends on the family i suppose. i've heard great things about imhotep but haven't played because of the 'take that' nature of it. clank is charming. tikal is perhaps too heavy and AP inducing.
nowadays the game master has it. its in dutch so you will have to print the english rules. but other then the rules its language independant. (if im not mistaken).

Very intelligent and full of energy. Pulled a blinder because I have never played this before and I Just ordered this on amazon (in the US) and I can't wait to play this with my wife! This game looks great. I've started playing Ticket To Ride with the family and Tobago looks like another game they'd enjoy playing just as much. If only I could find a copy (with the original components)! *shakes fist*
Just got it in the mail today and I just had to say that the quality and look of game components are more important than one would think because damn.. the Euro version is ugly! The tiki's look nothing like the ones in your video! In short it is the same game and graphics but all wooden pieces went from cool looking to terribly ugly!

Hey rahdo, I've got a question. Does curse always hit every player? I was really sure it will hit only the one who reveals it, makes much more sense, it's more decisive, more gamble-like and tense (you are not like "meh, it will hit me anyway"). I feel like if you don't have any amulets, it's really risky to get your ride to the treasure. Pointless even, especially if you have treasure cards of great value (like Jen had). Is it really a rule? Cool video as always, keep it up! ;)
it hits every player who's still got a clue with one of their markers on it. So if you get all your treasures claimed before the curse shows up, you're safe. Did I mess that up? I'll go back and check! :)
Actually you didn't ;) It's around 23rd minute on extended. You said "everybody has to get rid of the most valuable treasure or amulet" so I thought no matter what happens, everybody get hit with a curse. Maybe you explained this marker stuff earlier and I missed it :o Anyway - thanks for the explanation!

You can now buy this game on Amazon UK brand new for less than £30, German box with English rules included so it works perfectly fine
