Hi Martin, you asked me to let you know how I got on with the Muji notebooks for morning pages. I’m just going to use them for grocery lists at this point. I realized I write on the arm of my reading chair and so a few different requirements were necessary. I’ve gone for a large 8x12” spiral bound notebook with a recycled hard board cover and backing. Wide spaced lines for looser writing and the ability to flip the cover to the back for a stable writing support. Hopefully this will move things along. As always, I really enjoy your sharing of thoughts, information and whatever you decide to share. Your videos are one of the few that I refer back to and watch several times….

Sounds like a good, creative and practical solution. My uses have also changed a lot recently. Look out for a video on that soon!

I could fit this into my life somehow, even though I'm holding a full-time role with the NHS. Doing this will help structure my writing day around my daytime job. I need structure at the moment, as I'm halfway through a novel, and there's so much more writing that I want to do this year. Thank you Martin

Writing and a busy life... I sense a video! I've seen lots of NHS folks at universities. Any advice has to be loose and adaptable due to shifts, especially for those with a family, etc. Leave it with me...

Thanks. Have had a couple of days off from my morning pages this week: couldn't face them. Just back to them this morning - had to force myself, though.

Very interesting.👌 Although I wouldn't dismiss digital stuff altogether. It's just information: words, pictures, ideas... In moderation It's a good thing, like processed food. When you know what you're dealing with and have other things to do, it's fine. 😉 Thanks for this, and have a great day! 👍

Oh, digital tools are essential. My friend is a photographer; film is his love, digital is his work. My full system is hybrid. There may be a video... Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Richard, I bought the MP Journal today and part of me is looking forward to getting started and the other part thinks it will be a disaster, I will have nothing to say, or it will be morbidly depressive! Any tips?

Those concerns you have are probably the place to start. Let the words come. Follow the writing. But if it wanders too far into the negative, gently steer it back to positive territory. Let me know how you get on.

On my shelf and lying around, probably about 30, but I've got rid of some... I've used notebooks for years, but started morning pages only quite recently. How about you?
