@@heathswinson6506 How did he fall out of the first two rounds ? I LOVE his "motor" and he has an inate ability to read and react...which you can't really teach. The ONLY negative i can see might be with the motor he has...here's why. The Bengals have been very sucessful against mobile QB's ( Mahomes, Jackson, Allen ) because their Edge giys ( Hubbard & Hendricksen ) are disciplined to "set that edge and not allow those mobile QB's to get outside and extend plays with their legs. With his motor it may take the kid a minute to get that disciplined...but then again with his ability to read and react....maybe not ! And as far as value picks...I'd have to put him in a tie wit Bama WR Jermaine Burton...if Burton had had a better QB and no off field issues he'd have gone in rd. one !
@@keithsowder4308 yeah I think we got Cedric in 5th round. Never really watched him play. Same with Burton. I hear Burton will be a stud with burrow throwing and with chase and tee. So long as he stays outta trouble. I watched both of their highlights but those are meant to look good. So I take it you think the Bengals did good with at least those two picks?
@@heathswinson6506 I think those 2 are STEALS...and Mims...all I can say about him is this...he is the only NCAA Offensive Lineman with at least 350 career snaps to NEVER allow a sack or QB pressure. And we're not talkin' about a kid who played in Div. III...we're talkin' a kid that played in the SEC ! Loved what the Bengals did with the exceptions of McKinley Jackson and "double - dipping at TE.
@@keithsowder4308 I feel ya on the McKinley Jackson pick but since the draft the pick has made more since. It was 100 percent necessary to pick him. Needed a true run stopper and he is that in spades And he was the last true nose tackle on the board. The way the board fell in rds 2 and 3, it was just necessary. I agree Burton and Cedric are steals. As well as the corner and the center. If Mims stays healthy he will be a steal at 18. That pick actually pissed me off initially but since grown on me. I feel like all our picks could be steals. However, the safety selection made no sense to me at all. We have to move dax to corner because safety room is full. He won't see a snap and we should have got an interior lineman or LB. The undrafted punted is gonna be good I'm excited about him. Austin McNamara
True, but the SEC is the closest thing to the pros at the college level. I know it's just a TH-cam compilation, but it checks out. He's quick and knows how to use leverage to turn the corner.
Love this kid ! He's a playmaker...and he played SEC competition...so his stats are for real and the film don't lie !
Hell yeah. And apparently he was our best value pick
