These are very entertaining matches.^^ And I like how Igor makes use of the taunts in the game. You never really see it being used that way often and managing ki is a big priority or your screwed. XD
Is this still a pretty popular thing? I just started playing budokai again after like 10 years and forgot how much I adore these games. But I only play it occasionally against friends.
Priority is so broken especially with vegeta gt really frustrating to fight against..trunks is one of the easier characters for online cause the lag doesn't harm him that much except the pppp infinite
+Zocker I find all the negation a little overrated.Sure its as good as advertised for Yamcha and Pikon but GTV and Trunks are way to limited.Once you get down their pet tricks and realize they have no damage and a lot of mediocre abilities its much easier to deal with.Heck GTVs best thing imo i his lunge and nobody seems to take advantage of that very much
+TrollCapAmerica trunks does alot of dmg and fills up the fatigue bar good enough..i didn't play him at his full potential yet if you switch up his P+K with some other stuff it won't be that predictable..still need to learn him more just practiced about an hour with him, seemed very interesting for me so i tried him out and had more succes than i thought actually
So after going back and replaying IW seriously with a friend I just feel like higher tier character's P+K's ruin any sort of neutral game IW could have. It's very unactive and a character with a strong PK can easily dominate any character that does not. Unless there is some way to work around Stuff like Goku's P+K headbutt cancel or Vegeta's P+K ect that I haven't seen/figured out. Makes me want to learn B3 as I've seen it's a bit more footsie based.
+Gage McDowell Yeah the B3 character roster is a bit more balanced in this sense as attack priority doesn't play as big a factor in that game. As for IW, characters with zoning attacks or techniques are best for dealing with characters with high priority. Examples Janemba and Dabura, but also Kid Buu with his Assaut Rain. Pretty much anything to keep the enemy away and the priority at bay.

Yeah a well timed taunt can be game breaking. Specially if your ki is already high, depleting opponent's ki is often the better move

Every character has their own particular playstyle that is most effective. Vegeta GT is very similar to Trunks in this game.
