+unitedgray They change the weight on the sled and change the speed of the weight box as it comes up for each class... Just because a stock gas truck pulls 200ft and a pro diesel class pulls 195ft doesnt mean that the gas truck was better.

If you look at the weight that is on the sled that they're pulling, it starts out at the back of the sled and then as they pull it it moves toward the front.
I dont get it. Every commercial in the TV blasts Ford trucks, praising dodge,chevy, gmc over Ford. How,much more they can tow, how faster they are and than Im watching video like this and Stock Fords killing them all by big margin. Wtf? So somebody is obviously lying here.

However, with the exception of only a couple trucks and amini it didn't sound like any of them really opened up the throttle.
Somebody commented that the gas class pulled further they're not experienced on sled pulling then the sled guy can adjust the sled on how far they'll pull
The sled went all the way across though, just like with the other trucks. I figured it would have been set up to weigh less but it doesn't seem to be the case here.
so whats actually the objective of this? because I see some people going really fast and other people stopping while others keep going on. is it speed or distance, or both?
