I have a TMK 300 on a 5 ton kubota. It works great but how much heavier would the tilt unit make it? Also what is the price of the unit?

      Hi Ian!
The tilting unit is pretty substantial weight increase coming in at around 290 kg (640 lbs) plus it puts the shears weight even further from the excavator so I think the 5 ton machine is too light for that combo unfortunately. If you want more info or have any further questions feel free to email me at jesse.koponen@tmktreeshear.com

Is the Tilt unit available on the 200 series tree shears? I have a little 5-ton excavator that I would like to use as a pruner as well as a tree shear. Do you have a a USA distributor for your product?

      Hi Lee!
Unfortunately no we don't have a tilting unit for TMK 200 at the moment. Our current tilting unit is too heavy for the 200. We are however in the process of developing/testing one for the 200 so stay tuned for any updates!

@@TMKMachinery do you have a dealer close to Lewisburg West Virginia USA? I want to purchase one for my 5 ton excavator. How can we get in touch?

      Hi Lee!
The closest one is Matt from McCarthy Farms & Forest in Conneticut. Get in touch with Matt and he will set you up with a shear!
