Mate your opening 8 mins was such a fair and measured assessment of the summer and current status. I was already anxious about the Big Three’s contract extensions, but now I’m freaked out about Trent. Trent’s body language today was surprising and certainly didn’t help reassure us. I can only hope there have been contract meetings with all 3, verbal assurances from all sides, and that the club are just waiting until transfer window is closed/signings confirmed (please make a signing!! 🤯🤬) before they can commit to contract and salary negotiations with 3 of the highest earners. After seeing our owner at Anfield on Sunday I was expecting to see some kind of displeasure from supporters within the ground, Banners, chants ETC, but nothing, so now given up on any pressure on owners from our fans, if we don't show any annoyance at the severe lack of any plans, willingness to spend after this shocking transfer window then what will it take. So I guess we're happy to bend over and except whatever these owners do or don't di.
Honestly the window is done for us. Can only see more sales no purchases. I'd be content with trent, mo and virg getting extensions. Trent on a 4 year contract. Mo on a 2 year contract. He has at least 2 more seasons in him so this season and next season at the top then a year left to either sell or extend by a year and virg 2. Just to give enough time to replace him because he also has at least another 1 or 2 good seasons in him.
We hire a manager based on his renown for improving existing players and not spending much. It begs the question if it was always FSG's intention to buy next to no one this window. It looks pre-planned. Maybe all the spuriuos transfer rumours have been encouraged by FSG to make it look as if they're trying?

I thought Trent was out of order when Jota laughing put his arm around him and the end of the game and he just ignored him. We've let some real stars go in the past,Suarez,Cautinho,Torres and going back further Alun Evans the most expensive teenager , Tony Hately, Emlyn Hughes (My idol) even Sir Roger had to leave, to soon he thought but a legend, Rushie went off to Juventus,McManaman ran his contract down and got a big wad of cash to join Madrid, we lost Michael Owen to them also and many more over the years but LFC moves on. The powers at Liverpool should of reviewed Trent contract in January. 8 months before end of his contract? Tent is fulling his contract in the rules . The board missed the opportunity as he went to the euros and had his head turned

It wasnt necessarily 'THE CLUB'. 2023 Contracts / signings were down to the FRIENDS Klopp/Schmadka .....do you think at any time Klopp would of sanctioned selling any of the 3??? .....the answer's no, heck he wanted to keep Hendo (when he couldnt run) and Fabh when his legs were gone (and Milner). Contracts may not of been offered, or it could well be that the 3 want to go, either way, selling the players wasnt an option.

The comment made at the end asking why didn’t Craig cared about people in the other shows really annoyed me. We all know Craig wears his heart on his sleeve. He spoke from the heart about Liverpool and he’s had so much negativity over social media previously from Liverpool.
