Look, I’m not her fan and I stand by my opinion that she really would not have made it without her brothers fans to hype her, but this is just wrong. This is sad. I still think she’s sweet and has lot of potential. A manager should have sent something out randomly for her from the back at least. She’s still just a kid. Send a staff member to run to a nearby store and get something small.

Many of her fans argue that they are HER fans and not her brothers, and I don’t doubt that she has her own fans, but it’s also clear, especially through this fan sign that at the very least the Korean voters were her brother’s fans. To receive no gifts despite ranking as high as she did, is a reflection of voters voting but not committing to being her fan. Why? Because many did it to support TXT Kai’s sister and not Bahiyyih herself, or they voted for her because they felt she was receiving and unfair amount of criticism. Despite the political climate between Japan and Korea, Mashiro and Hikaru who are Japanese and not considered visuals in Korea STILL received gifts from visiting fans.
That speaks volumes about the lack of Korean voters who voted for her because they liked her vs voting for her because she’s the younger sister of an idol they like. Regardless, I do believe she’s talented, and I do believe she would have debuted at some point on her own, but I don’t think she would have debuted at her current level through GP999 if she wasn’t related to a popular idol.
The fact she’s still smiling at the others is just sad.
