Experience the Oldest Chinese Temple in Mumbai

Hey everyone, and welcome to Travel on My List! Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Kwan Kung Temple in Mumbai, India. This temple is dedicated to Kwan Kung, a Chinese deity who is worshipped as the god of justice, protection, and courage.
The temple was built in 1919 by the See Yup Koon community, a group of Chinese immigrants who came to Mumbai in the 19th century. The temple is a two-story building, and the main shrine is located on the second floor. The shrine is decorated with red and gold, and it contains a statue of Kwan Kung. There are also several other deities worshipped at the temple, including Guanyin, the goddess of mercy, and the Jade Emperor, the ruler of heaven.
The Kwan Kung Temple is a popular place of worship for the Chinese community in Mumbai. It is also a popular tourist destination, and it is one of the few remaining signs of the city's once-thriving Chinese community.
