The position is called "Speaker of the House of Representatives", not "Party Enforcer". The best Speakers in American history were well known for their ability to form sometimes fragile coalitions across the aisle to get things done, or even to get a single bill passed. That's what the Speaker of House is meant to do.
The "Republicans" who call themselves the Freedom Caucus should rightfully form their own party, the "Chaos Party", and not claim to be Republicans to ride on the coattails of an established party. I'm not deep enough in any party to know if it is possible for a political party to eject a member, and not allow them to run under the party banner, but it seems like that is what should be done here.
