So many memories...I have tears in my eyes when I remember me and my brothers playing this game all nights, unlocking every single character. Love it. This never gets old!.
One of the most nostalgic Capcom music tracks from the 1990’s. This song feels like a sendoff to the golden era of Capcom, the first fighting game boom and to the entire 90’s.
I honestly used to think this was from a Sonic game, probably Sonic Colors, because a guy called somecallmejohnny used it in one of his Sonic related videos. At that point in time I only had vague experience with earlier games in the franchise, and the song sounded so Sonic-esque that I thought it was from Sonic! Maybe it's just that Japanese video game composer vibe. Fantastic song!!!
& now since “Megaman” one of the Fighters of “Marvel vs capcom” Has been with Sonic in both a Comic Book crossover & the Super Smash Brothers game series. (*Heck one of the Many composers of the Sonic games got to do an arrangement of One of Megaman’s songs for the Smash Bros series.*) I now can say that This song being a part of Sonic’s game/music history is a lot more natural now. What goes around, comes around I guess. C:
This song alone brings enough nostalgia to make me cry actual tears and remember the good old days of me, my brother and cousins all spending the night playing video games.
Bruh I believe MANY people in this comment section do too, who include me. Yeah there're after all joyfully beautiful moments that still bring me feelings of sweetness and happiness whenever I envision them.
This was easily the best era of gaming. I often listen to old soundtracks cause the production value is just immaculate, especially for the era, and the games were super creative. Almost all of them had a different play style, while almost every game now plays basically the same just with different worlds. I'm beginning to miss those days
Back then Capcom is just SO famous for their incomprehensibly melodious, upbeat and exciting music which is kind of different from other ACG series. You might even find yourself more addicted to their music as you listen more and more to them. lol
Childhood right there mate, wherever you are, Even if had this song with mr for more than 15 years now, i thank you the post, and as i was saying wathever you are, thanks!
I love how Roll is strong enough to push back the Juggernaut but falls to her knees and bursts into tears at one glance from Anita. Man, I miss CPS-2...
you use a very appropriate word here wild games. they probably make good wild video games all the time back then. 90s and early 00s. All the games have their own unique style. You can instantly feel the producers try HARD to make it as unique and impressive POSSIBLE.
I don’t play mvc that much but I wouldn’t call it dead as the series has many tournaments still going for it and many people still play it and the community still find new tech and combos to this day. so it’s definitely not dead it’s just had us all a bit disappointed with the current game because of its lacklustre looks and other things but that doesn’t stop us from having a good time and going to community tournaments and doing crazy shit that we all love so much. The only thing that worries me is the future of this series and how the next game is gonna be if we get one.
Now-now...I know it was originally a Megaman Opening theme song (for Megaman 8 I believe, as I still have the original copy for PS1), but eh the world of modern day gamers can be tough sometimes. If it makes you feel better I liked it more in MM8 as its more epic. On the other hand, the level complete theme for Megaman 3 (which was powerfully revamped for MVC1) is still surprisingly epic-although they should've used the entire theme rather than just the starting riff (sigh).
RIP Stan Lee and RIP MvC
They should've played this at Stan Lee's funeral. Excelsior indeed!
@@edwardgaines6561 i dont agree with that but its still a good song
He's back again ❤❤❤
The use of drum & bass in Street fighter & the MvC series is very well executed and masterfully produced.
Was literally thinking of this, the opening sounds like Killing Moon from Third Strike
Not only in that games, DnB has a lot of influences in the 90s, Play Station Games and N64 has so much DnB BGM’s, pure nostalgia
I find it neat how Roll is the only one who's looking at the player.
She knows... she knows what's goin' on...
Maybe because the soundtrack has her name in it
...or maybe not
And she's a secret character. Roll obviously knows what's up
Oh boy, that image of her will never get out of my brain
She is the only one who knows they are all fictional characters of two different brands, but don’t tell anybody :P
Man.. This song never gets old. I personally liked the MvC1 over 2 and especially 3.
I agree. three words: Duo Team Attack
Mvc 1 will always the greatest. Know my name and fear it. I would beat the game just to listen to this song cause back then there was no TH-cam.
@@joeystones6085 Thank God the PS1 version had a sound test
same, this is my favorite game of all time
@@esmooth919on mame you can go into sound test as well
So many memories...I have tears in my eyes when I remember me and my brothers playing this game all nights, unlocking every single character. Love it. This never gets old!.

One of the most nostalgic Capcom music tracks from the 1990’s. This song feels like a sendoff to the golden era of Capcom, the first fighting game boom and to the entire 90’s.

I never played the game.., but this music is absolutely lovely I could listen to it for hours!
PlayStation or Dreamcast, get a copy and play this game. Even compared to MvC 2 and 3, this is a fun and exciting game today.
You have no soul!!!!!
The85thArbitrary I got copy of ps1 of marvel vs capcom 1

Fantastic song!!!
This was used in a sonic fan game . But of course this came first .
Sonic XG
No, the remix you heard came from Sonic XG Nexus...a fan game.
This does has a Sonic vibe

This song get me emotional for some reason

Sonic xg final fall
This song alone brings enough nostalgia to make me cry actual tears and remember the good old days of me, my brother and cousins all spending the night playing video games.

Cute how Roll looks at the viewer while everyone else just looks sideways
It's as if hey I am the only one who can see you that is a Peeping Tom dude.

I miss capcoms old fighting games
I absolutely love this song!! Always will. It's the greatest use of the Amen break that I've ever heard!
I believe this kind of music needs to be revived
Agreed
Back then Capcom is just SO famous for their incomprehensibly melodious, upbeat and exciting music which is kind of different from other ACG series. You might even find yourself more addicted to their music as you listen more and more to them. lol
I am still flabbergasted, this timeline feels fake.
It really does man
We have cvs and mvc in the culture rn
Etika directed me here
Me too! NOW GET BACK TO THE STREAM NIGGA!
classic intro, love the new content.
Etika meltdown lol
How?
Etika is dead now
I love the vibe of this song (and the soundtrack of the game). I noticed the Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom soundtrack had the same feel to it, too.
everyone: looking sideways
Roll: i'm seeing you ʘ‿ʘ
People type sonic final fall music, you're welcome
I NEVER FORGET THIS SONG
look up Sonic XG final fall theme its a remix but like 10x better than this I swear
kLik kLak Thanks for the recommendation, some more of this style theme?
try Door into Summer Knuckles Chaotix
also you should really check out the Station Square theme, Sea Gate, Seaside Hill and Ocean Palace. All those songs compliment this sorta vibe nicely.
kLik kLak To be perfectly frank, I kinda like the original better, It has better flow to it...
Rest in peace Stan lee
You will always be the king of marvel stuff.
The best doin fighting games and comics too...

The nostalgia :( I miss 2-D fighting games!!

Childhood right there mate, wherever you are, Even if had this song with mr for more than 15 years now, i thank you the post, and as i was saying wathever you are, thanks!
I just love this sound...Still playing in 2019.
When you graduate from highschool play this theme and remember all the good times during your school years...
This kinda reminds me of the music from the original Sonic Adventure.
I’ve been searching for this song for literal AGES
I KNEW it had to be a fighting game, but I always looked in the character selection screen music
this is like Megaman 8 ost & Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Ost Combined
I love how Roll is strong enough to push back the Juggernaut but falls to her knees and bursts into tears at one glance from Anita. Man, I miss CPS-2...
90s Jungle DnB hits so fucking hard ❤

Roll looking at the viewer like," you seeing this sh%+ ?.
They really don't make wild games like they used to.
you use a very appropriate word here wild games. they probably make good wild video games all the time back then. 90s and early 00s. All the games have their own unique style. You can instantly feel the producers try HARD to make it as unique and impressive POSSIBLE.
the song is way too funky for a credits theme, but hey that's classic capcom in a nutshell
putting there heart and soul into every game released
Hey props for putting this up bro!!!!!

This must be remastered please!!! This game is a gem ! Still have it and would be nice to see it again for a newer generation
It did. Arcade1up came out with a cab that has online
This is truly a beautiful song to listen to during the day. I feel at peace just thinking about the placid blue sky.
Thank You for Playing !
Aside from the fact that this song is freaking amazing and inspirational, it's so much fun to play on guitar
This art so fire

Sounds a lot like Akuma's theme from SF3S
Julien Maurel Are you talking about "Killing Moon" I find that to be AS good as this song!
Hell Yes
+Julien Maurel I love that song to death!
I was wondering why this sounded familiar. Thanks J.M.
Probably because both songs are jungle drum-n-bass
Need a 24 hour version. I could listen to this all day long.

Waddle Doo 2 You props not cheating from other TH-camrs
I see that they re-used those opening drum sound effects for 3rd Strike
the best of all
absolutely miss this on my psp...
They should include Iron Man, Juggernaut, Magneto, Doc Ock, Vega, Sagat, M.Bison, and Dio Brando too.
I miss my Dreamcast.😢
On the arcade version, when you play this music on the diagnostic mode, the last part (1:03-1:29) just loops forever.
this song plays when I vist my wife in the hospital after beating her near death
i legit tought this was from that Sonic fangame
Memorial Finish!
yeah it sounds great D:
This got remixed so many times on Sonic fan games.
Who else remember hearing this for the first time and was like "Must.....Hit.....Replay.....Button"
Mahvel vs Capcom is back stronger than ever fam 🤘✨️🔥

Sounds like something from Street Fighter III.
Heard this on Sonic XG's Final Fall and I had to come listen to this afterwards. LOL
