Arindam Sen The TMNT Usagi has brought in droves of fans to the series, I believe, but doesn’t quite compare to the Sakai-written and drawn stories, in my opinion.
I remember being in the first grade back in the early 90s and reading these books in our school library and I remember being worried about my high school not having these books in their library haha and here I am 30 years old still loving these series.

I’ll see about tweaking the audio from now on since it seems to be a persistent problem. I usually have no problems but I am using headphones so maybe it’s lower on speakers? I thought this one was an aberration because I remember having some audio issues here. And I would love to do Cerberus, but don’t have any comprehensive editions to base it on

Just found. your channel and after watching a video, I subscribed to your channel. I have tried/wanted to get into this book but haven't found a way in, so when you suggest a later volume such as Grasscutter I was excited about giving it another go. I just got into Usagi Yojimbo after seeing it on the recommended books at my local comic shop. Picked up the first vol of the Fantagraphs run, and I fell in love with the world story and of course Usagi himself. I don’t remember seeing him on TMNT show back in the 90s but im excited to have something so deep and just good to read. How did i miss this legendary book for so long? 😅😅

I have never seen that game! But the series is excellent, and very different from some of the TMNT representations, for example, I have seen. Great video... But it is so quiet I could barely hear you at all. Really well prepared material minus the volume level. I had noticed someone else had posted about this, but I felt you needed a second person to confirm it for you. The volume is almost silent and my phone was on full blast
Yeah, funnily this is the first video I made with an external mic! 🤣 I didn't know anything at this time, which is unfortunate for this video. I think I've gotten better with time, so hopefully my later and current videos are better in this regard. Thanks for confirming this and maybe one day I will make a redux version of this video!
Sorry for the delay - I completely missed this comment! I'd say start with Vol 1 of the Saga books but the limited ed HC is long out of print, so may be a bit hard to track down (or afford!). Of the rest, you can't go wrong, so get whatever you can find at good prices!

Yeah, unfortunately some people had trouble with the sound levels on this one, as noted in a couple of other comments. This was way back in the day when I was still trying to figure everything out. I still don't understand why its fine for many others though, me included. Maybe I should do a redux of this video one day...
Why didn't they give us a proper miyomoto usagi show as shown like the tmnt 2003 and tmnt 2012 crossover the fuck is this designed to sell toys to children yuichi usagi samurai rabbit chronicles shit this the same type shit why the violent mirage tmnt gets no love and recognition in modern media but the campy fred wolf Murakami 1987 cartoon is constantly milked.

One of my favorites too. I first saw him on the tmnt cartoon as a kid and then found a #1 at the local comic shop and I've been hooked ever since.
Even today, there's nothing quite like it. An amazing achievement in comics storytelling!
