    I find more talk going on about preservation and protection and less about "rebirth". We need a "Renaissance" . This means we should rediscover our older traditions and adopt the new ones such that, despite the new influences, the root is still the older traditions. I'm thinking in terms of creating a system which is a mix of the "modern" ideas we absorbed over the years and the traditional ideas which are needed to give direction. Of course, the dominant strain should be Hindu without a question but I think the future is in a combination of revitalization and consolidation.

      renaissance cannot come without spiritual transformation

    • @varunvenkatasubramanian8650
      @varunvenkatasubramanian8650 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jidrit999 Care to define “spiritual transformation”? It’s easy to profess to high-minded ideals. Not as easy to uplift people. Not every Christian becomes a monk but monks always begin by adhering to rituals and being devout. You can’t preach Vedanta and Advaita without creating a system that accommodates more “Bhakti” forms of worship. Also, the common man looks for certain things like a support system which Churches and Mosques help in. I’m thinking in terms of how to transfer the best of our ideas and beliefs to the next generations. You can spend your whole life “undoing the damage” and get nowhere because there is a widespread exposure to Christian and Muslim beliefs and English just comes as part of the package. Thus, I see more of a future in “absorbing” these influences but building a fundamentally “Hindu” base than to just reject them and try to go back to a system we only have a vague idea of.

    • @jidrit999
      @jidrit999 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@varunvenkatasubramanian8650 one way is to read as much tales and fables from scriptures as you can. i have collected around 150 stories. There is book called "Eternal stories from Upanishads ". raman maharishi books are ultimate step but starting with ramcharitramans, stories, upanishads , fables from mahabharata (Nityandam shree has written book called vyaskatha on it ). gifting bhagavad gita (can get in 50 rs ) to everyone especially to those whose ideologies seeks to destroy you

    • @varunvenkatasubramanian8650
      @varunvenkatasubramanian8650 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jidrit999 You can also learn a few lessons from the European Renaissance. The movement was less about religion and more about rediscovering the Greek and Latin ideals. The Church did, in fact, get into the center of it and patronize paintings and sculptures. All the Renaissance artists were devout Christians. But I like what you’re doing. Also, in the Renaissance, there was a feud between the Church and the Princes and Kings for control of taxes and resources. Thus, we need to keep the spirit of the Renaissance and do things our own way rather than import the ideas wholesale and think everything that worked for them would work for us. We do have precedents though in Vivekananda, Dayananda Saraswati, Aurobindo, Adi Shankari, Ramanuja, Madhavacharya, Vallabhacharya, and many others. We can read up on their ideas but take them forward while accommodating our more recent influences.

  • @Ramesh-Iyer
    @Ramesh-Iyer ปีที่แล้ว +6

    The Hindu RW is living an alternate reality of their own. Considering prevailing situation in India for quite some time, India is poised to officially become a full-fledged Islamic Republic in a couple of decades. Hindus (as during Mughal rule few centuries ago) will once again have the three options - convert to Islam and stay in India, flee India, or get killed for not doing previous two. Hindus are the most timid and cowardly religious community and will never fight for their rights, which enabled Govt to control Hindu temples alone, and not just that, it brazenly siphons off thousands of crores from Hindu institutions on 'secular' causes. So, Hindus are stupid enough to fund their own annihilation in due course. I am very certain that India as we know today will cease to exist in a couple of decades when it either disintegrates into two dozen independent republics - most of which would opt to become Islamic Republics. Else, whole of India will become an Islamic Republic with certain regions like West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, etc. already seeing huge demographic changes in favour of Muslims (including illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and Myanmar). So, listening to this pretentious intellectual discussion was futile, as it's far removed from imminent reality.

      @@cosmicallyspeaking871 Thank you Ma'm for taking my views in the right way. When I say the same things to my orthodox Brahmin / UC Hindu friends they say I am a bigot and overreacting. It's a pity the writing has been on the wall for a long time (even before 1947) yet most Hindus are oblivious or callous about it. IMHO, the elite / pseudo-liberal Hindus are a bigger threat to Hinduism's survival in India than Muslims or Christians who have been proselytizing at a brisk pace, esp in States in Southern India. Like you, I too worry if I will die fighting to remain a devout Hindu, without being forced to get converted / flee India / get killed by radical Islamists, if I happen to live for the next 2-3 decades. Unless we have an apolitical organization of genuinely devout Hindus with no political aspirations, who are willing to fight for rights of Hindus, I feel Hinduism will vanish from India (much like Zoroastrianism vanished from erstwhile Persia and present day Iran) over time.

      @Ramesh-Iyer ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@AmanGandhi Yes, it's a pity most Hindus don't care about their fundamental right to practice their religion freely - like every other religious community does in India. In fact, as Sai has said in many of his talks, Articles 25-30 of India's Constitution are patently against Hindus simply for being the religious majority community in India. For an issue like CAA which didn't even concern / affect Indian Muslims, there were several protests, esp in Shaheen Baug in Delhi for months. Hindus don't have the guts to do anything like that to pushback against Govt control of Hindu temples and other violation of Hindus' rights across India. Over 1 lakh Hindu temples & trusts alone are controlled by State Govts, which Hindus don't bother about. Yesterday, had read a news report where Madras HC asked petitioner to seek permission of Muslim community before installing Lord Ganesh's idol in the locality, as it may hurt the M's sentiments. Such instances point towards India becoming an Islamic country in the next 20-25 years. Long live Hindus !

    Why don't you generate money through tourism
    We have everything under the Sun to be a major tourist spot, but lack of cleanliness, disinterest, bad infrastructure makes tourists avoid India
    If you concentrate on cleaning up all our tourist sites, improve transport and hotels and target Asian rather than only western countries, can generate a lot of income and improve our economy
    We can be a major tourist spot for Buddists hindus Muslims sikhs
    I can't understand why we don't capitalize on this
    I don't see indian tourist offices abroad
    We don't have any tourism centers in South East
    We don't have any tourists from Thailand Bali Malaysia
    Why don't we focus on these countries

      We can earn lakhs of crores. 1st our centre must decontrol Hindu temples immediately.

    Instead of freeing temple which is difficult given casteism involved in it, why don't government take control of other religious places like mosque and churches in the garb of secularism.

    • @cosmicallyspeaking871
      @cosmicallyspeaking871 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saroj Jha ~ Imposing control over churches/mosques will kick-start a massive civil war that has already been brewing the last couple of centuries in our country. You will see a khilafat-like massacres all over Bharat. The abrahamics (christians/moslems/jews) of the world will pounce on Bharat & Hindus. We should not be afraid of being attacked, but I am just stating the consequences.
      On the other hand, Freeing Devastans, Devalayas, Mandirs, Gudis, Shaktipeeths from the clutches of governments, in spite of inherent difficulties, will not hurt the abrahamics. The Varna/Jaati issues within the sacred confines of Mandirs can always be better managed like Hindus have in the past since Vedic times. And surely, governments can step in to help solve such issues, but will need to get its hands completely off once an issue is resolved.

    • @sarojjha7909
      @sarojjha7909 ปีที่แล้ว

      In a secular country, all religions should be equal. The government has all the rights to control all religious sites equally. The only thing required is determination to do so. There will be less riots after that.

    • @sarojjha7909
      @sarojjha7909 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Aman Jha left hahaha... you don't seem to understand my point... No government will free the temple when it is a Free cash cow. So, the only way left is to force the govt to impose the same rule to mosques and churches. Hindus will never resist the way Muslims and Christmas resist for their religion. By using secularism, Hindus can use Muslims and Christians to raise the free temple voice. I hope it makes sense now...

      @@sarojjha7909 lol compare the number of churches, mosque with temples. Also other churches and mosque, they have system like casteism too, like certain group can't enter certain places. So casteism won't have a problem with Indian temple's. In temple no one ask for ur caste. Also Jai sai Deepak have a talk on this topic. Search on TH-cam u will find. It will clear all your doubts.

Also, for a long time, all four 'pillars' of India's democracy had gone rogue and become pro-Muslims and anti-Hindus - the Political Executive, Legislature, Judiciary, and Media. Hence, there is no defense or institution which Hindus can depend on to protect their interests.
