I started running 9 mana botface as the third taunt minion after the balance change. It has good synergy with the deck, quality assurance and chemical spill becomes even better and the minis are pretty great. Warrior is still the most powerful deck in my opinion.
Blizzard refuses to fix the problem with plagues canceling out the "casts when draw" effect. If you are seeing a lot of DKs around, you should not play this style deck.
Nice deck list, but I can’t get behind running band manager just to avoid auto casting galaxy. If you have played atleast under the sea then auto casting galaxy is 100 percent worth. If you haven’t, then you can save surf to combo with under the sea or water cooler. If you stuff one of your five spells in band manager you run the risk of holding all of your spells and ruining your late game. I’m not hating on band manager, but in this deck 4 mana is an entire turn wasted, even into the mid-late game.
This spell going from 8 mana to 10 mana killed the card! It's a big nerf, the problem is that the idiots at Blizzard see it as a buff! In short: mage doesn't have a deck to get legend! Every time I get legend it's with a BROKEN druid deck, the true mage of the game!!
its really a change i just dont understand i guess it gives big spell mage a 10 cost spell? but outside of that i guess it gives tendril decks a wincon again? its very strange tho i think they were worried about void scripture + tsunami if it had 4 elementals
I think tsunami is bad before and after the change. the combo is so inconsistent for its power level, wave of nostalgia and cheese is similar to its power level but way cheaper and consistent.
Yeah it was definitely not the way to "buff" tsunami 😭 dear lord why did they even do it, it was working just fine and not overpowered. :(( Thanks for testing the spell though!! Now I won't have to do it myself lol
i think they were afraid of the void scripture interaction if they added another elemental at 8 or 9 mana :/ either way it didn’t fix the card and probably just made it worse along with me scrapping a video i had completely recorded >.
Typical Blizzard to match you up with your hard counter the first game when trying a new deck. This was a great list. I like your approach to this deck. I do like my excavate version but this was not inferior in any way. I would say it has even more survivability. The only thing I would change is the 6-mana guy that gives you the weapon that "throws helpful spells". I would drop him in favor of a gaslighter because he is 80% of the time absolutely useless.
@Nautlocke_Vt Khadgar (pretending like I knew the name all along) had me so hyped during the card reveals. And then when I got to play it it turned out to just play a random spell from a pretty underwhelming pool. Is so bad they should give a dust refund just for opening it.

I will say the new 10 mana change did buff tentacle decks as they now have a damaging 10 mana spell again

it is what it is :P Honestly this deck feels like it has potential but i have NO IDEA what they were thinking with the tsunami "buff"
No way. A spell actually resolving as it should? Who would have thought?
@@multiream It's not your spell, and it already casts when drawn, thereby it is redundant.

@@jpsimeon8ify 2 Brann would be redundant, it doesn't stack. You still only get 2 battle cry for the rest of the game.

1000% agree i was SOOOO close to cutting khadgar because my luck with him was terrible

khadgar is so bad if ur luck is terrible i saw nohands and thijs getting 6 blizzards in a row.
