Thanks !! I started to learn piano last week, I had only one lesson with mu teacher and then I discovered your video !!! Now I playing Lady Gaga jejeje !! You help me a lot to improve and have a lot of fun !!! Thank you !!!
Thank you so much for this Nate! I lost a very good friend last month and had been hearing this song a lot just before... I shared it with another friend and she played it at the memorial. I just cried! So, I've been trying to teach myself and yay you are singing and playing it. I love that! I wish you had gone into more detail with the bridge and crescendo bit but I have enough to keep me busy for now. Much appreciated
Loved this video. The thing I like about you the most is that you don't forget the fancy stuff. This is how we get better. Please do some more 70's and eighties songs with the newer ones you been doing.
This is great to hear. Sometimes I wonder how fancy to get...helpful to know those extra details are appreciated. I'll definitely keep mixing it up, old and new...
It’s very interesting seeing the accompaniment compared to a full on piano cover! I love both either way as this is one of my favorite songs! I hope I can learn this song! Thank you for this video! :)
I learned thos song - and how to play with it, and having fun - in about one hour, and right now I think this is the best tutorial ever and I don't really know how to thank the author of thos video.
I’ve learned how to play piano with notes when I was 5-6.. Years later in my adulthood I am in a staff band with my colleagues playing piano with chords. Playing 4 beats is easy but gets boring and I loved how you demonstrate how to play such simple notes with fun tunes. I have seen other video of yours explaining how you can play chords with different rhythm but I would love to see more of those a little more slowly. The part you got carried away for example I would love you to play and show us with more details !! I always find it tricky to know how many beats in between the chords unlike notes it doesn’t show you ;(
I really like your videos and I hope you don't mind me saying this. Could you play it all together at the end, with the tricks and tips? It'd be great to get to play along with the video. P.S. could you make a video for Let's Fall in Love for the Night by FINNEAS? ❤️❤️❤️
I was hesitant to do that because I was worried it would be self indulgent haha. Someone else just mentioned this as well--I will do that in future videos! Thanks for the feedback :)
Hi, Nate just came across you videos you are great teacher keep it up. Had a question about the second song you switch to on this video if you could please tell me the artist that sings it and the name of the song thanks.
Hi ECHO!... I love your tutorial. I saw many, but it is the one that I liked the most because of the style and simplicity. I find myself a bit limited in that "SOLO", that you do at Minute: 3´25´´ of the video... Can you tell me the CHORDS that you do please? A hug, from Argentina!... Thank you very much... Marian
Hi Marian! Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed it! That moment was just me kind of showing off haha, its definitely not crucial to the song but all I am doing is playing different inversions of a G chord on an energetic rhythm. So a G chord has a G B and D in it, but I throw in a hit or two where the order of the notes is B D G...and then I just hit a few more G chords in higher octaves. You could try changing the playback speed very slow and imitating it to learn it. Good luck!
@@PianowithNate Wow...Excellent!!...Super understandable...I'm starting to practice it...Thank you really. I send you a big hug... and see you in the next great video... kisses for you!
Hi Nate! I came across your videos just today, and I have one quick question.. with a chord, am I allowed to just play the first two bits, leaving out the third one? It's a lot more comfortable for me and it doesnt seem to sound a heap different. I just want to know if its ok. 😅 Loving your tutorials btw!! New sub :))
I’d like to learn how to ‘get carried away’ with those sus chords. Trying to watch in slow motion and replicate but if there’s a separate tutorial on that I’d love it.
It comes with time and experimenting, you can get there! Finding this kind of freedom is the focus of my course, if you want to go deep: www.pianochordbreakthroughs.com/
Hi Nate, i find it hard to follow the rhythm of the last part where Bflat comes in..possible to have a slow down version and rhythm count for that part? Thanks
Hi! So, what I do there is not what happens on the lady gaga version...I was sort of improvising and having fun and showing off haha. I regret it a bit because it has caused confusion. I really dont think it is important to try and repeat what I did there. If you want to copy it though, you can click the settings wheel at the bottom of the video and change the playback speed to 50% or slower, which might be helpful. Thanks for watching!!
Hello echo!!...a pleasure to greet you again...Jajajajaja...IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS or that you can get us the SCORE, to play it reading the notes??...I would really appreciate it!...A kiss, Marian
Try this key: Am = Em F = C C = G G = D Bb = F If you want to go deeper on learning how to transpose on your own, check out my keys course! www.pianowithnate.com/keys-to-chord-progressions Hope this helps

When you go on that little run with the chorus, is it just an inversion of a G chord?
Indeed! Play around with it...I just improvised that moment it for fun.
