Dean throwing the beer to Sam and Sam completely missing it and then Dean just being super awkward about it is one of my favorite moments of the entire show LMAO.
I love this episode! Dean and Charlie are such a great pair! I loved all there scenes together! I especially loved when Dean told Charlie's mom that she should be proud of her daughter. And the way he comforted her afterwords was just so sweet!
A Charlie themed episode is always good but this one brought on the feels. The ending had me crying, i havent lost a parent but i could feel her pain. And the fact she read her mom the Hobbit just tipped me over.
I love this episode so much, and seeing you so emotional got me emotional too. I´ve seen it many times, so I don´t really cry anymore, but that last scene ALWAYS hits me in the feels. We´re closer and closer to the finale of season 8, which is one of the best ones of the whole show. Can´t wait!!!
I don't know if you have watched each season's outtake video, but you should. They are hilarious especially season 8. That Buffy reference is fitting seeing as Felicia Day play Vi one of the potential slayers in season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I won't get to know what it's like to lose a parent in this way. I lost mine because I finally pushed back against years of emotional abuse. But stories like this hit so hard, regardless.
So this show doesn't do a very good job with characters dealing with there mental and physical health. Sam was in no shape to be out on a hunt, yeah he helped but that was just dumb luck. Yet for some reason the episode portrays Dean in the wrong even though he was right to worry and this wasn't a case of him being overprotective. Also if Sam completing the trials is so important shouldn't he not be risking his life on random unrelated cases?
@@buildabetterwordpress2365 I would’ve said the same if the roles were reversed! Neither of them should’ve been on a hunt in that condition, also the part about the trials and not risk dying before it’s complete still stands. But sadly neither brother really look after themselves both physically and mentally and don’t take breaks despite the others reasonable protest
I typically don't like Charlie episodes (because I think the writers just use her as a vehicle to make lazy jokes about nerd things) but this one is better than most. It gives her a bit more characterisation at least.
These Charlie episodes were written by Robbie Thompson until Robbie left. He identifies as a _huge_ nerd and said he used Charlie as a self-insert and modeled her after Felicia herself (who’s also a big nerd) because Robbie’s a big Felicia fan. They were never meant to be lazy jokes. She was intended as a love letter to nerds, including Robbie and Felicia. Felicia speaks highly of Robbie’s writing of Charlie because she relates so much to her.
@@sasha.158 That may be what the writers intended but that's how it came across. Saying "wilhelm scream" when threatened by a bad guy is a lazy joke. And Felicia can have her own opinions about the character and I can have mine. I actually don't think Felicia is an especially good actress either (she has a crying scene in this episode and not a single tear flows).
@@Wannabe_Baby Cool, I wasn't commenting on her acting. Claiming her role was to be "a vehicle to make jokes about nerd things" is just reductive imo, especially within the context of the show and in comparison to previous queer/female characters, but if that's how you feel. 🤷🏽♀
@@sasha.158 Cool. I WAS commenting on her acting. If the writers didn't wish for people to make "reductive" comments about Charlie's role, they should have made her more than a one-note running joke. No idea why you commented about "previous queer/female characters", since I didn't mention either one, but I can guess ...

I love Charlie so much.
And her relationship with the boys is so lovely.
I absolutely love that Charlie found and read all the Supernatural books.. and the boys know it.

One of my favorite episodes of the season. I loved the surprise brother hug at the end. There were so many great moments in this one!
How sharp did Jensen look in that uniform? 🤩🌟
I love when they play dress up with Dean. He always kills it.

SAME! It's always that last scene, no matter how many times I've seen it 💔
how can Sam look so cute and handsome when he's all disheveled, sleepy, and sick?🧡
Oh, you’re close to the Season 8 finale! One of the most shocking and epic season finales in the entire series.
Supernatural has really interesting red-headed characters, so that jinn lady was up to a great start!
The fashion montage...it wasn't about being not fashionable, it was about looking like an FBI agent.

You said you were blinking away tears, the tears were flowing pretty good on my end too, Jess. This one hurt, bad.

Itsss Wednesdaaaayyyy im always hype for these
Can we get this woman versions of this show that remove the guest stars from the opening credits, please!?
I was tearing up too.
Did you watch the doctor who trailer yet? It is epic. I’m so excited to see the next episode isn’t anyone else?
love Charlie!
How do you make your thumbnails?
I couldn't take my eyes off of your nails.

Lol you can tell you’re a Dean lover, he can do no wrong 😅

Could they it afford Dj Qualls this season lol
While I agree, I do believe Buffy would also point out that you can't be fashionable and still have those bangs. Just saying.
❤

This is one of my favorite episodes of one of my favorite seasons. So close to my favorite finale as well ❤️🩹
