For me, it's that sweet kiss on the forehead. Dean truly loves Charlie. She's his baby sister. This is a great episode...and I love you mentioned Dream a little Dream of Me because that's one of my top favorite episodes!
When I finally stopped crying over the end of this ep, I realized that they were connecting the Bunker with a hobbit hole ("and that means comfort")... I had to cry all over again~
I remember reading one time where a reviewer said that Jensen could have chemistry with a WALL. Which, disturbing. But, I know what they meant. His and Jared's chemistry is the stuff of legends, but Dean's relationships with Charlie, Cas, Benny, Garth, Chuck, Zachariah, Uriel, John, Lisa (I loved their relationship!) etc. are also so fascinating to watch.
Charlie: "What about Castiel? He seems helpful and . . . dreamy." Since you're a fellow Destiel shipper, Shelley - whose benefit did she say that for? What was her motivation for adding that little bit on the end? She didn't say it because SHE thinks so, since she's a lesbian, so . . . 😉😉😉
@@unconcernedcitizen4092 What you are saying is true in the context of the real world. But in this SPN universe, Charlie, who from S7, has trouble fake-flirting with a man even when he is attractive, and has to be coached by Dean to do so - because she said she is a lesbian. So that's why OP is asking - from continuity perspective - why did she have to say that remark. She only read the book and also hasn't met Cas. In the context of the show, her being a lesbian and making that remark seemed to be redundant and out of place. Hence we can extrapolate that the writer of the episode is the one remarking on Cas attractiveness. So why, what's the purpose of Robbie putting that line in? Robbie, who originally put the line "I love you" from Dean to Cas in Goodbye Stranger. Furthermore, if you watch her eyes (at 6.05 mark, you can slow the speed of the video to catch them) as she was saying it, she was side-eyeing Dean in the mirror, who was sitting behind/beside her. So even the direction of the scene with the line uttered by Charlie seems to point that, that remark means something. Make of that what you will.
Charlie: I love you
Dean : I know.
One of my favourite scenes 🥺

Charlie is probably a top 5 character on the show for me. She's great and Felicia Day is always a delight!

Charlie is my fave guest character. I love Felicia Day and some of the best Supernatural moments involve her character.
Charlie just makes better every episode she's on.... She is the best!

Obviously because someone *wink wink* told her that, since she's never even met the guy.
@@anandiganguly3086 true, forgot she hasn't even met Cas yet at this point, HA
@@Beeba10 It’s not like gay people can’t recognize that someone of the opposite sex is attractive, though.
@@anandiganguly3086 she read the books that's why she said it.
