it’s amazing we were ever in this position. we got knocked out in the group stages, then we got knocked out by city, then we were dead and buried against Ajax but we pulled it out every time. I love this club.

It feels kind of wrong for them to put the trophy out as the losing side is given their medals. Should have the trophy somewhere else and bring it out once the Liverpool players start going up on to the stage. Also, it is pretty disrespectful of the commentators to call the medals given to Tottenham "loser medals".
Credit to Liverpool, they did deserve to win something this season. But the same has to be said for Tottenham. Going this far into the Champions League, when at the beginning they looked as if they were out, is something that doesn't always happen. Plus, Tottenham did have a difficult group stage along with an even more difficult knockout stage, almost the same for Liverpool (Tottenham's was a bit harder since Liverpool did get Porto). This group of players, along with tons of credit to the manager, have done extremely well and I hope that their efforts continue on next season (along with some new signings, I beg for some good). This group of players has something quite remarkable about them and I have a feeling that they are currently on the brink of glory, and next season might finally be their year.
This, I hope, gives all Tottenham fans hope for the season next year and the years that follow.
