Haha. Can you please tell Ariah that I absolutely love him? I really dig his style and the confused look and the paint he had on his face when he explained his process in the end is so very much like me. Man this guy is pure gold! Thanks for sharing, Michael! Yours is the best plein air channel out there by far!

Both paintings are so beautiful. I got a kick out of the little preschooler at the water’s edge in the background. This video has it all, interviews, teaching, photography and painting! Amazing. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Another great video! I’m sold on the limited palette. Down to 5 colors from 8 or 9. I’m heading out the Riverbend in Jupiter Fl tomorrow AM before it gets too hot!
Another great day of painting PleinAir! I notice you never use an umbrella. Is the umbrella over rated? Even while working in a shaded area how do you manage to come up with perfect values. Thanks for making Sundays special.
Yay! Hi Michael and Ariah! Always enjoy seeing you both painting together. Great work as usual. I’ve heard overcast days warm shadows and sunny days cool shadows, is this something you’ve done?
Thanks Miriam! I always rely on observation when it comes to shadows. There are many times when shadows have a lot of warm reflected light in them on sunny days.
Great job, gentlemen! Is it me or is Ariah's game escalating exponentially? Also, after arriving a little late, I am impressed how quickly he knocked his painting out. How do you like the Charvin, Mike?
@@chamberlainpaintings Thank you, Mike! I appreciate your honest, as always response, regarding the Charvin. I would be curious as to your next choice.
@@Dennis-Hare I like Winsor & Newton titanium white. Gamblin and Utrecht are good too but there seems to be less oil separation with W&N. Maybe I'll try Rembrandt next.

Michael and Ariah - wow. Two fabulous, loose, alive seascapes.
Thanks Maura!
Very good, especially Ariah's. The longer his hair gets the better his painting. Love the thick impasto foreground.
You definitely seem like brothers from another mother. Loved it.

Will be watching again to learn more about color choices. Beautiful paintings!
Good one guys!
Always a pleasure to watch you paint at the beach .
Always a joy watching you two!
Love to see the variation in the shades of the water and the rocks. You have really mastered that!
Good work, Michael
Great painting!
Enjoyed the view and narration of it. Beautiful ocean scene paintings. Brushes up to you both!

How do you like the Charvin, Mike?
Thanks! The Charvin doesn't seem to be very heavily pigmented. I prefer a bit more punch.
