Bro my greatest singers of all time list is probably around 500 also and as an Aussie now 50yrs old, I grew up listening to all the greats both here in Australia and across the world... stones, credence, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Van morrison, Little Richard, Tina Turner, Aretha, Dianna, Janis, Barnsey and Farmsey, plus today's greats Beyonce, Mariah, Christina, Celine, Delta, jessica,.... Morrisette is unlike anyone I've ever known in the industry and can not only mimic and destroy every cover she does, but makes them all effortlessly better than the originals!!! But what she does with her own songs is next level and beyond!!! I feel privileged to have been on this earth to hear and witness true greatness and I already had her at #1 long ago, but when I heard her sing acapelo drivers licence no background other than street traffic, it confirmed to me that no other singer on this planet could do it at the level she did!!! Morissette is my nominee for the reigning diva in the world today. She can cover anyone else's song and improve it, but no one else could improve on this.
Never heard anyone successfully come close to Mori's Naririnig mo ba and Gusto ko nang bumitaw. They can probably do the belts and all but Mori's technicality in highs and lows with depth and emotions. The control and richness of her voice, Mori is just on different calibre.

It would seem that our dearest Mori is being deliberately ignored by the controlling and influential elements of the western (US & Europe) music industry because she is a threat (market share) to their own talents, projects and investments.
Plain and simple.
That says a lot when an artist/singer can cry hearing her own song as she's singing the heart out of it! As you well know or should based on your reactions to all Morissette's TH-cam content; this version is coming from her heart to her dad (not sure at this point they have reconciled). Her other versions are great entertainment but this one makes you feel her pain!
This song is for her father who disowned her just because Morissette decided to follow her heart when she married her husband now. Yes, her father still don't like her husband for her after all the persuasion and everything. And ever since Morissette started performing for the people, she always give all of her salary to her family, and now she's separated to them and she clearly miss them.
This is how she express her love for her family, specifically her father even after she got disowned just for following her heart.

Hey Nick I totally 💯 agree with you that this is the best version of this song. It’s tauntingly breathtaking and heartbreaking at the same time. The mix with the piano and the cello was extraordinary beautiful and with Mori’s angelic voice it just totally did it for me. A quick acknowledgement to Dave for his musical artistry for putting this version out there. For all Morissette haters out there … when you cannot fault her vocals you always come with the same old criticism that she doesn’t sing with emotions. All I can say to you all is watch this performance and specifically 4.35 into the clip. If this is not singing with emotions then I DO NOT KNOW what is!

Anyways, you are just proving anytime that you are indeed a Morissette stan/fan. Like you can notice the changes or even the small changes of the song in different versions. And before Morissette did that ocean🌊 belt, I have a bet that you will notice the add-ons in the background which are the whistle notes🎶 and glad you did notice it💯🌟 When I heard that part, I was surprised that I did not even believe what I am hearing in the first place. Then I keep repeating that part and I realized that they did something in the background. I was thinking if they were whistle notes, an echo from her vocals, or just a smooth effect from the piano. And I come up with the conclusion that it were whistle notes🎶 And after watching this reaction of yours, I claimed my conclusion as a fact👍💯

This is awesome, Nick. You are truly a Morissette fan, as you memorize by heart her songs, especially "Love You Still". I think this song holds a special place in Mori's heart, not only because it is her song dedicated to her father and family, but also because this is her first "obra maestra" with her husband Dave into songwriting. Their "first-born", so to speak. And this latest release, with the new arrangement and with only the cello and piano as accompaniment, hits differently. It is more emotional and deeper, that the artist herself (Mori) was touched by it and was teary-eyed for it.
Towards the end of the video, where they were laughing while crying, that's just how we Filipinos express our emotions, a mixed feeling of happiness and sadness. Dave said, "ang ganda!" which is "so beautiful!" or "so good!" which shows their apprecation of their team and their work. 🥰

Of all the sounds of this recording, Morissette's laughter is my favorite. When she laughs you hear that husky quality that helps put those vocal breaks in her vocals. I love watching She and Dave's interactions. He is so mindful of her always.
I know you like a lot of singers, some of which I like as well, I have no problem putting Morissette as the best vocalist ever. The main reason is she can do it both in studio and live. Some singers can produce great studio tracks, but can't quite capture the magic in a live situation.
I think you need headphones to hear those whistle notes. I could barely make them out from just my lap-top speakers.

@@ThatSingerReactions Nick I just have been going through several Morissette songs with you here on 9-4-23. I went from 'Fly Like A Bird' , to Akin Ka Na Lang and finally The Sunset edition of 'I Still Love You'. Each song became your new favorite and I can't even question that. I love all these intimate videos with she and Dave and how they are with each other. This last one is so raw and you know how much she still cares about her dad. I just wish he wasn't so bull-headed. Doesn't he know there will be grandbabies coming? And what about grandma? The thing is he knows Dave is a great guy and that he loves his daughter more than anything else on this earth. So I keep praying that dad will meet them half way.
