It may interest you to know that the album they released in conjunction with their wedding is titled From The Sea. Dave's surname is La Mar (which is Spanish for The Sea) so the album is From the La Mars, Dave and Mori.
It was a bittersweet moment for Mori, to marry the man she gave everything up for and not have her family be there. Her father disapproved of Dave and I pray that he'll someday see how good he is for her. Dave is a very talented singer, songwriter (many of Mori's song from Signature and From The Sea were composed and written by Dave), cinematographer (her videos are all directed by Dave). He supports her and is willing to be in the background just to make her shine.
I also want to point out that she has never stopped reaching out to her family. She lives in a condo but has built a house for her family. I'm not sure if they've accepted it but she's not a negligent daughter. In God's good time, I pray that they'll be happy for her.
I agree with you in wishing that someday they can all get along as a full family.

guys I am 60 and the truth is that I also cried, because since I had the blessing in my life of knowing Morissette it was instantly like a feeling from a father to her daughter, and it hurts a lot that her father has not been able to see that immense love that these guys have each other and how happy Morissette is. Thank you guys for reacting to this video and seeing that intimate aspect of Mori and Dave.!!😊😊

One of Mori's dogs is called Loona and seeing this again was so good, Now they married on the 28th of June 2021 they were going to get married in 2020 but covid came with full lockdown so they had to wait, the production firm were brillant but all the editing took almost 5 months, all Mori's and Dave's fans thought they got married in January 2022 but they told everyone later that there was so much Material that just chosing what to put in there Video was so difficult, it was beautiful, got dust in my eyes again.

This is one of their dogs, but she's not Luna. Luna passed away 2 or 3 years ago. I remember Morissette always sang "moon river" to Luna to get her asleep.
@@armandosoriano-ok5ge Its his Brothers Dog, Rocky, If Im not mistaken, remember, they got Luna and his brother Micha already had Rocky. Thats why Rocky was there and Luna was not. Im pretty sure Im right about that.
Thanks for reacting to these. I have not seen too many wedding videos, but I cannot imagine a better one than Mori and Dave's. So beautiful! And the songs they wrote to perform at the wedding are truly icing on the cake! It's crazy, but this makes me feel so privileged and blessed, almost like Mori and Dave personally invited me to the wedding as one of their close friends. Jokes aside, the wedding video is really special: it's at the same time a music video to promote their EP, a real wedding video, the story of their relationship with many clips of the time, to build a Disney-style fairy tale, like Romeo and Juliet but with a happy ending.

How could a father and her whole family not attend and let her walk down the aisle by herself on the most important day of her life. It's something her dad has to live with. What a shame. Dave's mom was right when she said that Mori sacrificed everything.

I was also crying with you all along. I guess that's a "man's thing" to cry during weddings. I've seen a lot of grooms tearing up during their weddings, me included. 🥰😁
For Dave and Mori, I was shedding tears because of mixed emotions, I am happy for them, they found love and happiness in each other. We can see how they support one another, especially Dave, who has been selflessly supportive of Mori and her music. He has been her partner, not only in life, but in her art and career, he is co-writer, co-producer, cameraman, videographer, director, sound engineer, technician, adviser, constant moral support, her "wind beneath her wings". 🥰
We are sad because of her family's absence during her most special day. It would have been more happy and complete had her father, mother and brother been there on Dave and Mori's wedding day. I still can't believe that parents were willingly not attending their only daughter's wedding. How hardened can a heart be? 😔 We still wish for better things to happen, for Dave and Mori and her family. 🙏🥰

Me too guy got emotional, I cried when Mori was walking alone, she 'said already 25 years old lady year when she got married and at the age of 21 a rule of law year in the Philippines can decide for her own. That's a big mistake in the part of her father. Why he prreempted Mori's own decision. An carried away watching 5his beautiful wedding of my Queen Morissette and the rain well it's a sign of bleesings and approval and the LORD. What Dave's mom said about Morissette sacrificed everything for Dave is true. No one will know all the true details of their story unless they themselves speak about it. The wedding is full of emotions. Happy that they finally has to put their levels of relation one step higher. Sad when she walk there alone without the ones that created her into this world. Also, is no one gonna talk about Morissette's words there? Music to your lyrics, rhythm to your blues, cream to your coffee, etc. That was stunning!!! The other girl who also spoke in the wedding was Moira Dela Torre, another great Philippine singer known for her sweet tone and lovable songs. What she said that despite the storms, we can still see Mori and Dave dancing in the rain! Which in my opinion has another meaning. Despite all the challenges and problems they endure, their love together takes the top spot❤
What both the couples said in the end of the wedding film, "Gihigugma tika" is in Bisaya which also the same thing as "Mahal Kita" in Tagalog which both translates to "I love you". Morissette can speak one language more than Dave lol but Dave learns more about Bisaya because of Morissette 😊
Talking about the songs, the name of the EP "From the Sea" translates to "La Mar" in Spanish🇪🇸 which make sense for Mr. and Mrs. Lamar👫 If you see the logo of the EP, there is a sun☀️ rising above the sea🌊 Turning the logo 90° degrees, you can see that the sea shapes to letter "M" which means Morissette and the rising sun shapes to letter "D" which means Dave💖
Morissette and Dave are dog-lovers🐕🐾 They have plenty of dogs in their home. The one dog who sadly passed away is named "Luna" which is also named to one of their From the Sea songs "Luna🎑".
There is one From the Sea song that was not played in the wedding film. The song is called "Free 🕊️" which is also wonderful!
There is a clip in the wedding film where they performed a song 8 or 9 years ago. As far as I know, I suggested the performance since your "Akin Ka Na Lang❤" reaction which is on your list already. The performance is their duet of the song "Brokenhearted". There are also some other covers they did on Dave's channel❤
Dave Lamar is also a wonderful singer🎙️🎶, one of the people who pushes Morissette to songwriting ✍️ He is also the cinematography behind Morissette's vlogs/performances. Such sweet couples🥰💖

Hi Ryan and Cindy,what a role reversal(Ryan getting emotional). As a happily married person myself,this young couple inspires me for the trials they went through. When they uploaded the wedding video,we just thought it was more original music but they let us into their special day. I dont follow all the drama on Social media,From what I have seen prior to the marriage,I have seen how Dave has supported Mori. He put his career on hold to help Mori enhance her talents and enrich her life and Mori has also returned it to him. From The Sea EP was written/produced by Dave and Mori about their love story. From The Sea is the brand they use when they collab,as their solo projects are branded for what they are known as. Can't wait for the EP review. They are actually going to release something new for From The Sea soon.

As stated in the video...they met in 2011 and started a friendship ( Micah is Dave's younger brother).....were team mates on the 1ST, The Voice -Philippines 2014. Dave is a very accomplished musician /song writer and has a number of released songs on all music platforms...the lastest, called, Different . These songs were co-written by Dave and Mori....cataloging their love journey on the EP From The Sea ( the sea in Spanish is...LaMar) The started as friends....and tried the b/g-g/f things for awhile and then back to friends....when he went to the US for a year or 2, tried out for American Idol ..and in 2018 both realized, they belonged together. Yes....what she gave up, is..... crazy !! No one should be asked to chose...between love and family, like she was. Her family didn't attend. That was Moria Dela Torre , one of her best friends and an amazing vocalist , that was in the rust colored gown that gave the toast..." dancing in the rain" The dog , name is Rocky, but he is Micah's ( white shirt and black suspenders) beagle, and the brother of Luna that they lost to Parvo in July of 2020 ( yes the song is dedicated to Luna ) They now have 2 beagles off springs of Rocky , named Kahleo and Koa. Dave's tattoo, is music related....musical notes. One last note.....the last song, " I Won't Let You Go " is by Switchfoot , not written by Dave and Mori.
@@OOCFM I believe Amay and Analie ( Dad & Mom ) ad the best intentions what they discovered her amazing talents, and like ANY middle teen female , having a life outside of the industry , discovering boys and love is normal. She felt frustrated, in 2018 , feeling only known as a " cover" singer , and had Dave in her corner to push her to write her own songs.....Dad felt threatened I suppose, believing Dave, having failed in his attempts in competitions , was wanting a free ride on Mori's talents ( a thought that most Father's would think ) but had he gave Dave a chance , he might have accepted his admiration and guidance for Mori to go beyond " cover " singer. What If....indeed . I know her family isn't as faith driven as Dave's and this could also be some under-lying issue.

I have watched Dave and Mori’s wedding video many many times and like you Ryan I cried pretty much every single time. For me it’s the special bond between the father and his daughter. To watch Morissette walk down the aisle by herself gave me mixed emotions. Obviously on the one hand elated and overjoyed for her on her wedding day. But on the other hand the feeling of downhearted and sadness that her father was not there for her. I myself have a daughter a few years older than Morissette. I could not imagine not being there for her on her wedding day. For me family Is everything, without family you have nothing. I really hope that her father will find peace within himself and to open up his heart and accept Morissette’s wish to marry Dave.
As a big fan of Morissette all I want is for her to be happy. Watching her smile and laugh with Dave throughout this wedding video I’m sure it was the Lord’s intention to bring them together. “ A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN”.

The other sad thing is that she left them every single penny she had to her family and had to start from scratch, just goes to show how some parents that see something and automatically think that they are an insurance policy, that's not how it works, her father just wanted to be in control of her career, look at her now since her and Dave became an item, she's a remarkable human being who deserves the best that anyone has to offer her, A very unique talent that comes around once in a lifetime and I'm forever grateful that I started following her journey over 5yrs ago, she has given me so much joy, watching her livestreams gives you chance to get to know her that much better, she has a very goofy personality and doesn't take herself seriously which is missing in the industry with all the big EGOS that plague the industry, the greatest FEMALE ARTIST on the PLANET my such a long way, what's not to love about her 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
