Couldn't figure out the pond u were at until u got back to the truck and saw the highway in the background. We usually always had better luck winter and spring at the far end of the pond where it starts to narrow in.
Yes, Western end of pond. Starts to narrow to a cove at opposite end. Where it starts to narrow is where we used to do well. Some nice size trout in that pond.
