One of Lynch's best solos in my opinion. Structure and timing is perfect. I love how you threw in his sliding in place of the whammy! Heavier sounding than the original but you nailed it!
I've always thought George was on EVH's level. Randy I've always given the edge over those two. Aside from technical ability (which I believe the three are about equal), RR had otherworldly skills composing music with a distinctly unique sound and structure.
I saw someone else on TH-cam play it and then watched this, but I'll be honest - my jaw dropped when you began playing the solo. Absolutely nailed it, I still had goosebumps 5 min later.

Wow. .perfect tone.love the guitar.i have an ibanez looks so similar.exept it's quilted maple tobacco.i bought in Orlando 19 years ago.at a massive store either guitar center or George's.but I went to that store every day for 3 weeks until I played every guitar in the store,comparing narrowed down candidates back and forth when I came in the last day I had a few more to play,then the manager brought out the ibinez and saie he was buying it fie himself so he had it in the back .he said when he played it it just has such a special perfect sound that he had to buy it.but hadn't paid for it yet .and he kept it at the store because if he brings home another guitar his wife is gonna leave him since he has so many .he said he will sell it if I wanted it ..within 5 seconds I knew it was special .I've loved ibinez since.its still my best sounding guitar.love the song if you could learn just a few songs,the national anthem,and this have to be up there.miss those days .truthfully ii went to bed one night after a fun party.i remember seeing thw wirkd oremier of great whites new song video,fly fallen angel...a really great song abd great video as well artfully done with band on top of a skyscraper.the next morning I woke uo and the hairband days and metal songs were all gone.really.there was no transition.there was no sentiment like people getting tired of it or ready for a change they wanted more .but instead someone who controls the brainwashing machine in the world,im sure a Democrat,lol decided they wanted people to like grunge music,and the nasty look and oily hair and I never heard another hair band or metal song ever again on every radio station,and every video and TV channel until tears later ..people hated it at first and were mad.until the brainwashing and conditioning kicked in then they figured that if everyone else likes it,i must like it too. ..I demand a full investigation.lol it really did suck ..still pissed Before it ended I saw so many great concerts great bands.one of the last was judis priest,dokken ,Cinderella,dio in Atlanta ga. At the onni

(her word for computer) Daddy's not nodding hon. He's reliving his high school years when ... oh, you're right baby. Daddy looks funny nodding at the 'puter doesn't he? lol
In some tunes (e.g. Alone Again ) George is tuned to 430Hz. Still dunno if he did it purposely, or is some mixing error or even a mixing trick (you know, like Metallica running MoP tapes faster during mixing ... old analogic mumbo-jumbo tricks lol)
@@MetalMike87 sometimes they sped things up which makes for the offset in frequency and therefore tuning. In the interview they also said like some parts are over dubbed a lot might be on purpose to get some natural chorusing going
I've seen it a bunch of different ways by some very good players, but this is the closest to accurate I've seen (especially the messed up part at the end of the solo that everyone does differently). Lynch just did it so uniquely with accents or altering tempo in the middle of complicated phrases. Not sure he can even do it the same way twice, but when he nails it, it's just magic!
ima just critic... obv pwn you obv luv teh lynch like we all do.. the trills just a lil faster... the thing he stole or warren stole the slide trem.. and some pinch work but ya basically have it..George is a whole nother beast to learn but you obv have it down.. and ya i know you aint perfecting one guitarist over another but this vid is like damn the guy put some time in... Refreshing. ♥
