Why do I watch it when I can't understand what's going on? Because I understand and love chaos, their reactions are priceless, and the editors really make it work.
Actually, even if you don't understand anything language-wise, shows like these are really good for learning - you pick up buzzwords and connect them to the drawings (which is an effective way of learning vocab) and there's a lot of fun that comes with it, so the learned words stick with you better. Also, culture-wise, there's a lot to pick up on even if it's not always explained explicitly. And, mainly, it's just fun to see the members react and have fun together. They set a good example for healthy communication, problem-solving and group dynamics (as well as a lot of other things), so even if we don't understand every single word, we learn a lot and we are entertained well. Plus, don't underestimate how much Korean we've picked up along the way. I did actually understand quite a few of the Lion-Soup word game answers and had a lot of fun with this. :)
