I absolutely love the optimism so inherent in this attraction. And I admire the message that the ultimate reward of progress is more time for wholesome recreation together as a family. Just good old fashioned American values. I don’t think you’ll ever see a modern theme park attraction like this again.
The vacuum sound came from the actual machine on the stage. Just like the whining of the dog. I worked with people back in the 1980s in the IATSE who ran this pavilion during the World's Fair gig.

My foster Grandparents still used their 1920’s stove and fridge in the early ‘60’s.
