- Hey guys! I thought I would declutter my whole makeup collection (besides lip products) in one go... and it is a long one! I am in a new place with decluttering so I didn't cut my collection in half but it was nice to pass along and move out items I am sure no longer work for me! I hope you enjoy the long relaxing video! Omg, first of all, wishing you a very speedy recovery. I had had an ovarian cyst in the past as well but had it removed. Lots of back pain though before the surgery. That's actually how they found it... Apparently, ovarian cysts can often interact with the nerves in our spine/back (not sure) and cause a lot of back pain. I hope you are past that because it could really be unbearable sometimes...
And secondly, your comment also resonated with me so much because Lauren has exactly the same effect on me. Whenever I'm feeling down or just don't know what to watch, I'll put one of her videos in the background... Her voice is so soothing, calming, and relaxing at the same time... That's not to say, of course, that I don't watch her videos when I'm ok... 😂 It's so comforting to know that we can find some sort of peace on here during those time when we really need it... ❤

I understand the want to have products that you can share that you feel that everyone can use, but you are fair so that may not be possible for every brand. I know that here are brands that make items specifically for pic that you would be able to use that I love. Enjoy your faves and acknowledge areas that you feel like they can improve on.
i really enjoy the discussion in my brain that your current declutter policy has brought forth. because honestly, at first, i was kind of iffy about it - mostly just because of the trauma of those gigantic wasteful 2016 makeup collections that i personally found really overwhelming and brought me to appreciate and enjoy declutters in the first place. but i realize now that - not to sound pretentious or anything - the idea of keeping things you might use later is very much so in the spirit of "reuse" when it comes to sustainability. the best thing one can do is to not buy new things, and keeping items - even, or especially when they do not have a specific purpose or are in use at the moment - is genuinely the best thing to do.
also, i will never stop trusting your recommendation for sparklies. because something about the way you swatch and describe them always is so precise and accessible to me
EDIT: ooooh, if you ever want a reccomendation for locking down stick shadows (even though it is not quite in the spirit of one and done), i recently got the glossgods eye shadow base. you only need the tiniest bit of product and thus far it has locked down absolutely anything i have put on top, no matter how much it would crease without. it has been my little magic tool

Holy crap this was a long video. I honestly don't think I could get tired of hearing your voice which is great bc I watched this all the way through. I did however have other stuff to do so it was fun to watch this during small breaks throughout the day. I cannot imagine filming for over 7 hours oh my god, I really appreciate your dedication to your videos so much more than I did before
Wow epic video - thank you:) I'm kind of surprised you don't have the Sydney Grace cream shadows - they come in small tubes, have some gorgeous colours and dry down perfectly - also they're great bases for other shadows if you prefer to use them that way:)
I got so excited when it came to the single shadow creams/pots; they're one of my favorite products too. I go nuts over a shiny thing in a pot! I'm going to have to come back to that section and get to Googlin' when I have the chance. Really glad you had a couple of Rituel de Fille soot things because I was about to comment to try them IN CAPS!

You could try the makeup by Mario cream bronzer in light medium. I LOVE the tone on fair skin. I tried the light shade and just prefer the light medium. I also adore the westman atelier contour stick in biscuit. But it’s a splurge. Even though it’s contour it’s got enough warmth I can use it as a bronzer. For powder I recommend the Milani silky matte in shade 2 (it’s matte but truly a silky buttery matte), Clinique solar pop, and tarte park ave princess (luminous formula), and L’Oréal lumi bronzer in light.
Lauren! Please do a video where you depot that Mac palette with the pretty packaging and take us along for the ride of you creating a custom one 🤩
This is incredibly relaxing, I loved it! Also for the Salt pans, Sephora sells very inexpensive Make Up Forever $2 single magnetic compacts and $4 duo magnetic compacts that fit them very well!

Loved this declutter! As for bronzers, I’ve heard amazing things about Milani baked bronzers and that they might be similar to the Kosas! Even their silky matte bronzer sounds great!
Milani baked bronzer and blushes are lovely formulas. I have four at least!
The What's up beauty palette is STUNNING. They are not talked about enough. Definitely Italy can't wait to see you try it out!
Just in case you want to move more shadows around across brands: the Menagerie palettes with square pans are also perfect for fitting Lethal Cosmetics shadows! So, when rearranging Violet Ink and the others, you can also use Theresa’s palette and the other two magnetic Lethal ones you have!

OMG for bronzers, the struggle has been real to find any still being made, but the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand and the em Cosmetics So Soft Multi Faceplay Bronze + Sculpt. Both blend out like a dream and are AMAZING!

I got out of the shower, doing my skincare and getting ready for bed but I'm at the single sparkly eyeshadows section and now just want to put shiny things all over me!
I love this attitude to decluttering, of I'm not sure so I'm going to use it and find out, rather than I'm not sure so it's going, or its old so it's going. So much more relatable, and that's how I found some faves - by not being sure and telling myself to use it a few different ways to find out how I really feel about something. I do it with my clothes too and have rediscovered items I now wear in different ways and stop me hankering after new pieces as much
Have you tried Colourpop Lunch Money super shock highlighter? I also love Flexitarian, Lunch Money is a little more subtle but still wet looking if that’s what you’re looking for. Beautiful highlighter!

The flower beauty heatwave luminous highlighter in sunrise sounds right up your alley! Sheer and works beautifully on pale skin! There’s only 2 shades though :( a cool toned one and a warm one, sunrise is the cool one.
My bronzer rec is Flower Beauty Heatwave in Sunrise L1. Loved watching this whole video.

I love the Pat McGrath blushes! Dessert orchid is such a beautiful subtle sunburnt color on me. I also really like Devine rose, it has a soft gold sheen.
Ok, so the KVD Dazzle Sticks are SO SO good! I don't know why they aren't talked about more either, it's crazy. I have all the colors except the red-ish one Ruby something just because that color doesn't really suit me. Now I want to pick up that RMS cream shadow too! Hi Lauren! I looooove bronzer! A couple of my favorites are the Milani bronzer in dolce and the flower beauty bronzer in heatwave. Hope you find your perfect bronzer! Loving this video 🤗❤️
I too struggle with bronzers. Most of the time they r too red or don’t show up on my skin. But I think I’ve found my two favorites. Tbh they’re not affordable. Charlotte tilbury bronzer super smooth neutral has pigment( u have to use a light hand if u want that sheer bronze look). The best tho is Chanel les beiges healthy glow powder bronzer. Its fucking perfect I’m not kidding I alway look sun kissed in the best way. The only thing I don’t love is that they don’t have deeper bronzer shades for people darker than me. Like I’m 420 in Fenty I feel like someone who is darker than that can use it as a finishing powder but not a bronzer.
I am around your shade and ABH Mahogany is pretty good, nice and neutral, though it looks ashy in a swatch, it looks perfect on my skin

I use the saie as a primer. It makes anything you put on a glowy dream. It is so light weight, and filled with skincare!

I like your position on decluttering where you think ahead and hold off from getting rid of products. I notice with other channels they'll declutter items, then later say how they regret decluttering those products - then repurchase them for another video. It almost seems like it happens for the sake of content. Anyway, this was a refreshing take on decluttering.
I have been looking up either product collection or declutter videos that were exactly this! Thorough, ev3n if th4 product didn't work, descriptive, in depth. Every box ticked. Yes, yes, yes!!!!! I absolutely love it. I will play this in the background when I am working, over and over again. ❤️

Have you tried the Charlotte Tilbury contour wand? I think it has a beautiful tone that is not orange and blends like a dream!
I use my Tarte Shape Tape Glow Wand as a shadow primer. I will set it with a bit of powder and it is fantastic. Just a little tip.
This is why I always read comments! I'm currently panning this item. I've never thought to use it as a shadow primer. I'm trying that tomorrow morning, thank you!

To be honest, this type of declutter is so much better!! 😅🤔 Like the reasoning behind who can throw away more items they have recommended was super disappointing on our part, as subscribers and consumers. Because at least now, you keep what you review! And in part we get inspired to use our buys instead of feeling like we were just duped to keep buying stuff by beauty TH-camrs, then they themselves just threw the products out!! 😅😊

I love phase zero! I would love to see a video highlighting some of their products! I got one of their blushes in a fab fit fun box a while back, and it is my every day go-to, but it is buildable and I also sometimes use it in my stage makeup kit!
This took me 4 nights to get through. I watched it right before bed and when I started getting sleepy, I paused and saved the rest for the next night.
Ok a couple bronzer recommendations for you! The Sol Body in light or medium (I use fair!) and the Tarte Sea Breezy bronzer in Seychelles (they have a mini!). For powder, my favorite bronzer is a baked one from Ulta’s line. It’s in a three pan and it’s the 3-in-1 Sculpt and Glow in California Sunlight

Powder Highlighter recommendation: Give Me Glow - smooth & shiny, not powdery, great colors, a lot of product, affordable, can be built up or sheered out. I picked up 3 recently- Powdered Peri, Fantasy Fairy, and You Wanna Peach of Me. I've been looking for a purple highlighter that is good and these are wonderful.

That blue highlighter from Oden’s Eye makes for an absolutely beautiful eyelid topper.

Hi Lauren! My experience with the Lethal highlighters is that they were initially very dull and chalky. After honestly like 2 weeks of use though it was like the texture improved and looked great. Almost like when baked highlighters have that hard layer you have to break through
I think she also has the “wrong” color. I believe Lauren has Ionic, but Isotope is better. I am very fair and was originally wanting Ionic but I watched several videos showing face application of both and it was immediately clear in all of them that Isotope gives a glass skin gleam that you don’t get with Ionic. So I went and bought Isotope and it became my number 1 powder highlighter. Which I did not expect, as I usually go for the pinky undertone very fair ones…

I LOVE my Elcie Luna highlighter, I've almost hit pan on it. It's stunning and definitely underrated but I love those hidden gem products that people sleep on honestly
I wanna see the Sydney Grace x Temptalia palettes rearrangement video! I bought the Etude House Bling Bling eyeshadow stick in a shimmery white shade in December of 2015 when I visited my family in S. Korea. It was my second eyeshadow I’ve ever owned in my life. Now I have so many LOL
