Very good looking build. I have a similar van, extending bed, also pops up. Vent fan, 300w solar, 200ah battery. Kitchen counter with small sink and grey water tank. Also was able to fit a 40 inch tv.
For insulation, I did the same, as well as adding a layer of black felt. I removed the walls to try it out and it was a huge difference! Summer and winter.
    Your build looks beautiful!

Nice functional build! The roof fan shots were super helpful to me. It’s like that flat spot on the roof was made for one. Unfortunately my van has the rear A/C duct work up there. I’m gonna have to make some choices if I want a fan in that spot. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻

The roof on this model Astro has the flat spot for a fan installation. I think every van build should have a roof fan.

Fantastic job. Very nice! I noticed the battery appears to be a Interstate flooded Lead Acid. When these are in a living area, they have to be vented to the outside. A flooded battery will emit hydrogen when charging. A simple swap for a AGM battery would work.

The perfect build for a one-man camper. I love how you kept an open aisle in the back of the van, to provide access through the back. Looks also like the passenger seat is on a swivel? Or is it permanently fixed that way?

I discovered your channel as a result of seeing the "Stealth Van" today on i80 near North Platte, NE. Unfortunately, the "Stealth" may need an upgrade, since the cop that pulled you over had no trouble seeing you were going faster than 75. Oopsie.
I will be passing on your channel info to a friend who has a van he wants to do a conversion on. Hope the ticket isn't too costly.

    • @TrailMedic911
