    10:29 "NH2 minus can't deprotonate water"
    You wanted to say can't deprotonate hydrogen molecule.

    How about a strong acid + weak base then? I mean, what if the balance of acids goes one way, and the balance of bases goes the other way? Which way to choose then?

      Just compare the pKa's of the acid and the conjugate acid. The favored reaction will be the one that results in the higher pKa.
