Oh so pretty Kristina! Shimmer on black - a winner every time! Thanks for persevering with the foiling, the end result is lovely! Merry Christmas to you and yours - I hope you all have a wonderful time together!
I hot foil a lot and have found it really is the cardstock I use if I have success foiling or not. C9 is good but spellbinders has a black cardstock and is smoother. Spellbinders has similar colored cardstock to other companies but SB colored cardstock is always smoother and foils best with glimmer in my experience
I have the same problem with foiling. I love the cards. They seem like they would be fairly quick to do, WITHOUT the foiling. 😉 Have a wonderful Holiday and a nice break from making videos! I will miss this series! Thank you for all your hard work.
Kristina, The fixative idea is good and another idea I have used is Dorlands wax. This only challenge that I had was to be careful to protect the unpainted part of card with some type of masking. Thank you so much for your videos.
So pretty. This is exactly why I am not investing in foiling. While I LOVE the look I don’t need that much frustration. Plus I don’t have any super power crafty friends to call for help 😅
I cannot believe this is day 24 of the HCS 23!! 😭😭 I love this series some much!! 😍😍Happy Holidays Kristina! to you and your family (Sophie and Daphne included ❤❤)
These are so beautiful! I made the cards from 2019. I thought I was done with Christmas cards, but I'll just start 2024 early! Thanks for this dramatic and sophisticated version!
Those sparkly paints look beautiful. ❤What I do with warped watercolor paintings is spray water on the back and iron them face down on a hard surface, try it, it works great. The iron should be at the highest setting because you want things to set up fast so that the water doesn’t have time to seep in to the front of the painting. Oh, and i f you have trouble removing masking tape just heat it up with a hair blower, it comes wright of.🎨🖌🖼🌟
The smoother the card, the better for hot foiling. I've had excellent results with my Go Press & Foil since I got my Switch machine. No shims, no struggling, just hot foil it, run it through one time, and I'm good to go! I don't get why anyone would spray fixative or any other chemical aerosol inside their home. I go out into the detached garage and then bring it in. It's not hard and it saves my lungs and everyone else's. Happy Holidays!
Beautiful cards! Thank you so much for sharing❤
Congratulations on your foiling miracle. TY

Your cards are always so beautiful. I have trouble with foiling to. Try Nancy Stamps she does all about foiling.

Love this card! One of my favorite Christmas tree cards from this year, all designers! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Very pretty…love watching you make them. 🎄🎄
Such simple, elegant cards! Definitely want to try this technique. Hope your holiday is the best.
These are my all-time favorite cards for Christmas. Loved the first ones, and now loving the updated ones.

Super cute. Love all your cards. Let’s do this every month!
you really have to hand it t Kristina, she will try to make it work even if it takes longer than just change the concept to make it easier.
I love your trees-especially with all that shimmer! It seemed so easy & simple! Thank you for sharing🌲❤️🌲
So beautiful and such a simple card to mass produce. Love it!

Love this! Wonder if masking magic would work better than the blue tape.
Love this! I wonder if you could use Ranger mica sprays to paint the same way??

Beautiful. Do you mail those?
Where could I get your paint storage tin?
i don't have a foiling machine. Why can't I put an iron on it and then run it through the cutting machine like you did?
