Why is that people never seem to understand finance at all... They all say like "oh in this African country you only make $200 but in the US or Canada you make $3000...." While they all fail to understand a simple basic.... What matter is not what you make but how far can you go with your money... I do not think that in Garborone a 2 bedroom apartment cost on average $3000... That you have to spend $1000 per month on groceries, $200 to $500 a month on healthcare... I do not think that in Botswana a third of the total population wants to leave because life is too expensive, that like in london many many maaaaaany people only can afford to rent a room in a house because it is too expensive... Geez man when will people get it...? I remember i yad to explain to my brother in law that he should not just see that in Canada people make $3000 compared to the Dominican Republic because in canada prices are relative to the salaries but on the high side... What will cost like $200 of groceries in santo domingo for a full month will only be enough for 3 days in canada and the US... I do not think that in Botswana 1.5 litter of orange juice will cost $6.79 Canadian dollars, that 1 litter of milk cost $3, thar you spend 3-400$ per week just to buy food
Life is very easy in Botswana i know other people from countries especially Northern Africa who are hustlers who are doing much better than what you are saying, others have even brought their families Salary might look like its small cause you are comparing it to America's rates but you have to remember one thing that Botswana currency is one strongest currencies in Africa, even if a person get 300$ a month you can survive with 200 and 100 send it back to your family or save it because its not that expensive here unless you use African currencies that are lower than Botswana currency

Botswana have a handful of devious 'business' people. Check the lical newspapets and see whoch company and whoch which dishonest guy 's name pop up for being sued. Corruption is also in that country. The ordinary folk suffer whilst a handful of them het rich

How much is minimum salary in Nigeria? Botswana is far above Nigeria. It is all about what that money can afford in that country not the money alone. Botswana has only 2.5million population and Nigeria over 200 million population, how can you compare them
